I looked the place up on Facebook and found the business page. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was a minority owned business so I decided to make an appointment. I'm almost 28 weeks pregnant and I took advantage of a 4th of July special I saw on their Facebook page. The location was easy to find and the owner was very friendly. The inside is nicely decorated. My technician took more time than I was allotted to try to get a good picture of my baby. My baby just was not in the mood for pictures today. Lol! Even though my baby was stubborn, I had a good experience and I'd come back to try for another peek before I deliver. You should give this business a try!

It came in handy because the baby was playing the drums or something on my bladder so I needed a restroom quickly. I didn't have an issue finding the suite I needed. I had to be there 30 minutes before my appointment since I was a new patient there. It was a bit of a waste because I printed and completed all my paperwork beforehand so the wait was wasteful. Also, my appointment didn't start until 17 minutes after the set time so I waited around for about 45 minutes. However, the ultrasound tech was delightful! She talked my husband and me through everything she saw and was talking note of as she performed the ultrasound. Everything is going well with the baby!

I recently delivered my first baby at UAB and was very pleased and satisfied with the services received. The doctors, nurses, technicians, lactation specialists, and everyone else that I saw during my stay were excellent. I know that UAB is not the first hospital that comes to mind when thinking about where to deliver your baby in Birmingham, but it was a no brainer for me. Being connected to Children's Hospital brought a piece of mind had my daughter needed those services. In addition, UAB is the only hospital in the state with high-risk maternal and fetal physicians available in-house 24/7 and the only Maternity Evaluation Unit. I want to give a special shout out to the lactation services, and specifically Barbara. She has been instrumental in helping me with this feeding journey. Even 8 weeks postpartum I'm able to call to ask questions or come in for weighted feedings. 10/10 would recommend UAB!

Every member of staff is kind, knowledgeable, and helpful from the front desk staff to the nurse, lab techs, and doctors. They all go above and beyond to answer questions and offer information about things you might not think to ask or be embarrassed to ask, and they never make you feel rushed or like you're asking for too much (whether it be care questions or financial question.) Dr Flores took the time to really listen to me and get a good understanding of my medical conditions and history. She was thorough, approachable and friendly. Dr Hunt, the attending physician that Dr. Flores works under/with also came in to introduce himself and chat a minute. He's also very personable and friendly. The office and exam rooms are very clean. The only complaint I have is that it's hard to get in for an appointment as they stay booked up. But that's what happens when you provide quality care! When I made an appointment with this clinic, I was just glad to be able to see them right away…read more When I walked in, after days of pain and the second month of that level of severe pain, I expected to be sent away being told nothing was wrong with me and I basically needed to just deal with it. I could have CRIED when every single person in the clinic was not just kind, but listened intently. They never made me feel rushed or that they didn't have time to talk about what was going on. They never acted dismissive. But I still expected after my ultrasound to be told they found nothing and to go home. But instead they were kind throughout the process and they DID find something and told me it was a good thing I listened to my body. They asked many questions after, getting a better idea of my history and current situation. They never rushed me or talked over me. Since it had been around two years, they asked if I wanted to do an exam since I was there, to also make sure everything else was okay. I said yes, because why not? I was already there. When I tell you that it was the most relaxed and comfortable exam I've ever had....I was blown away. They then took my labs because I mentioned I've been going through perimenopause despite my previous GYN dismissing it, so that they could look at my levels to make sure and also give them a clear picture of my current health and make recommendations if needed. I have NEVER felt so comfortable, understood, acknowledged, and validated as I did in this office. I will never go anywhere else and will recommend anyone and everyone I know to this clinic. I simply cannot say enough good things about my experience. PLEASE support this practice. I cannot express to you how absolutely amazing my experience was and how VASTLY different from any other experience I have ever had with a GYN clinic. I hope and pray they stay open, because I never want to go anywhere else. I also had a conversation with Dr. Hudson the same day about what had happened and he was understanding and wanted to make sure any and all of my questions were answered, as well as making sure I was well informed about the situation. He has worked very hard over the last years to build a practice that's different...that learns from mistakes and actively wants to do better. And it shows in the employees he has and in the way he listens and responds as well.

Both of my kids were born there and I thought I would always go. Recently my mother was admitted for her COPD and it was nightmare. The only bright spot was Dr. Mitchell. The rest of our experience was a nightmare. It started in the Emergency room. The nurse's would disappear and would act like I was bothering them when I came to the desk. One time I told them Momma was having trouble breathing and the nurse just said okay she would tell somebody. We waited in there for almost 30 minutes before someone came in there and all they did was adjust the tube in her nose. In the room next to use was some woman who kept screaming and cussing. At some point all these big guys got called down there and there was more screaming from the girl next door but the people who came down were almost as bad. They stood in the hallway laughing and cussing and being loud, but I couldn't get anyone to take care of my Momma. That doesn't make sense. It wasn't any better when we got to the room. Same story. the nurses on days and nights were always in a terrible mood. They acted like they didn't want to be there and kept complaining they didn't have enough people working. I don't know why not, the hospital looked empty most of the time. I tried changing Momma myself which embarassed her but I couldn't get people to come wipe her up when she pooped. When I finally asked to speak to someone in charge this woman gave me a number for the patient advocate. I had to leave a message for her and when she called me back she said she didn't have time to come to me but I could come to her office. I bet you that woman stays busy if she has to answer the complaints but refusing to come see me and my momma doesn't make sense, we are the ones being mistreated but I guess she didn't want to see it. And when I tried to ask her about the medicine she told me she doesn't know clinical things so she couldn't help me. Again I ask you what happened to this place. They change there name but they are worse than they have ever been. I'm angry and I'm sad. The hospital on the hill has fallen off a cliff. They don't value the patients and hire staff who don't care about nothing. I will not let any of my family or friends go back to that place.
