Horrible. I was there around 9:30 am for blood work. The room was crowded no seating seat available. There were three machines for checks in. People with difficult with the check in and no people to help so I was there more than 15 minutes and could no make my check in.. I just gave up. Terrible place. read more

After reading the reviews of this location I had to leave a review after my personal experience today. First I must say this place is always full. Last time I walked in there I just walked right out. My appt was at 7:45am today, I was seen a few mins earlier as I had arrived and checked in earlier. I left there at 8:05/8:10. I was not even there for an hour. I strongly recommend making an appt. The staff was nice and polite. Receptionist seems tired of being there but she was not rude to me at all. I would come back but with an appointment. read more

EXTREMELY rude service. Tried to check in with the electronic kiosks twice but an error message kept popping up. I proceeded to ask one of the workers at the front desk if I could check in with her and she kept asking me "Did you use the kiosk?" I said "YES. They're not working." She proceeds to get up from behind her desk and talks to me with such a disrespectful attitude as if I'm too stupid to understand how to use a computer. She tries...the kiosk didn't work. For someone who works in a healthcare-related field, I was shocked by the horrendous customer service. Additionally, I came in around 7:30 am on a Saturday and the place was packed. Not enough chairs for patients, so 20 or so people were standing near the check in area. Bottom Line: Rude service. Too crowded. Long wait times. horrible there was only one guy in the front desk and he was frustrated I did not like the employees attitude I don't know why they were mad for but they were not nice I went there for a Urine drug screening and it took one hour and a half to get it done, they should work more on their costumer service or they should get more employees, my experience was very bad! Hello my fellow Adventurers! This will be the second time that I've come here for an employer related drug test and can I just say it is the worst location. Today I was instructed that it was REQUIRED I remove all jackets/sweatshirts, hat, and personal items to place them inside a locked box. I was here a little over 3 months ago and was never instructed of that. I questioned it and was met with a wall of attitude that was uncalled for. In fact the original person went out side of the room to complain and send a different personnel in. The reasoning as to why I had to do this was because I may be hiding something, acted as if I were a criminal. I asked where is it posted to instruct this? It's illegal to do enforce something that isn't posted. She pointed to a wall where it does state that items much be removed, however it does not state that it is REQUIRED to lock them into the box that was in the room. It only states that it is AVAILABLE to lock my items up. Apparently this establishment is so concerned with legality and being sued that they got rid of common courtesy and manners. Steer far and clear of this location for simple needs regarding drug tests, lab work, and various other medical needs. They are the rudest staff and completely unprofessional. Overheard the person behind me that she wasn't allowed to have her child with her when getting a drug test. The reasoning? They didn't want to be a liability. For single working mothers and other parents that need to bring their child with them this establishment needs to be a lot more understanding. I would also like to point out that the same mother had to drive her child back home and sit with a neighbor only to come back and be told they stop accepting appointments at 2 PM even though they close at 3. This location needs to be closed and the people need attitude adjustments. read more

Great experience here. Made an appointment for 745a arrived at 740a and was done and out by 8a. I know not everyone has time to make an appointment 2 weeks ahead. Everyone is very nice. The worst. Their website says 'walk in welcome'. I went in for employment drug test. Checked in at 10am. At 11:25 (1.5hr later) I talked with the front desk to ask what is my status. I was told there are 4 people in front of me and it would be another 45min. I had informed them I would be leaving. At 12:40 (2hrs and 40min after my check in) they started texting and calling me that they were ready. Unacceptable. I get that walk in wait longer but the fact they just let me sit in there and didn't tell me I was looking at that kind of a wait is just unacceptable. read more

It's been a long time since I made a review about a company but can't let this slide by. I used to love coming to this location. I never had to wait more than a few minutes and everyone here draws blood amazing (zero pain!), especially Ms. Dolche (sp?). Now fast forward to when the pandemic started. This place is literally the WORST now. As other reviewers said, yes, we get it it's the pandemic. Than why is the waiting room packed with over 20 people standing around????? Seriously!? I had an appointment for 10:30am. I arrived at 10:20am and checked in on my phone. That's the EASY part! I get a text at 10:34am to come inside. I got all happy that wow, maybe they finally have their s*** together and very little wait time even with an appointment. Boy, was I wrong. I go in, they take my prescription slip, then the lady tells me to go to any room that's available. Bwahahaha. I walk thru and ALL the rooms were occupied. The lady than tells me to go back to the waiting room. It's packed. Seats are only available to like 5 people, the rest are facing backwards. And then about 20 something people just standing like we are waiting for free Krispy Kreme donuts. I kid you not. I came to my appointment FASTING and I'm not gonna just stand around to pass out when they already called me that they were "ready" for me. So, I go up to the window and tell the lady that I am going back to my car where I can sit at least. Of course she completely disregarded what I said. I wait 30 more minutes in my car. I call them up and at this point I am losing my patience. Woman on the phone tells me how they called my name but I wasn't here. Ummmm, what part of "I'LL BE WAITING IN MY CAR AND CALL ME WHEN A ROOM IS READY FOR ME DID THEY NOT UNDERSTAND????" At this point I am waiting 40 minutes total for my appointment. When I go back inside, a pregnant lady is on the verge of an anxiety attack. She was also waiting forever and couldn't take it anymore. I comforted her and told the staff shame on them for being soooooo incompetent in running this facility. And what do you know, once they drew my blood I was done in 3 minutes. So, 40 minutes waiting to be seen for 3 minutes. Gotcha! I am so done with this place!!!! Beyond horrible. And especially with the pandemic, how the heck do you manage the facility so poorly with the waiting room packed like that???? Time management is ZERO for all health places. Only positive about this facility was the staff was nice and I was called in quickly. Now with the negatives: Gave 13 vials of blood for a specific test ordered by my physician. Come to find out a week later that the lab did not know how to run the test and did not contact the doctor or myself and threw the 13 vials. I had pre-op bloodwork on December 21 at the Lab Corp on Saint Georges Ave in Linden on December 21 and in January I received a letter from Lab Corp dated January 5 that I was in close contact with an employee who tested positive for Covid 19. What I don't understand is that LabCorp has my email which is how they let me know my test results are in and they also have my cell phone as they text me when it's my turn to come into the facility, so why in the world would they notify me by postal mail long after the quarantine period and certainly long after I would have infected others? If this is the way a healthcare provider is operating, I can't imagine how much worse other industries are behaving with their notifications. You really can't trust anyone, so make sure you protect yourself best you can. read more

How do you allow people work the front desk that do not know how to talk to people.. its bad enough that some of us are dealing with certain issues but now to go into a medical facility and get major attitude from someone that clearly doesn't care about the patients.. this is unacceptable and should be addressed immediately.. Awful experience !! almost an hour and a half waiting just to do a simple urine drug test where I was in and out in five minutes once I finally got called into the actual exam room, which apparently there was ONLY ONE OF. staffing is adequate at best as they mumbled loudly the names of people to be serviced and their customer service was subpar. the facilities were Decent the check in process is not the most efficient. considering this place was fully staffed and still had a half a waiting room full of people I was very disappointed. find somewhere else to go or make an appointment at the crack of dawn when the place opens or else clear out 2 hours of your day. Labcorp - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Linden, New Jersey

It's Labcorp so one cannot expect much in the way of customer service, but this particular location has the most disinterested phlebotomists and front desk staff. Blood draws are done in an assembly line fashion with little to no cordial greeting or care for the patient. The wait is long in the mornings when they first open -- hopefully there is improvement by midday. I was talked at rather than talked to, and the front desk staff made zero effort to even try to pronounce my name. They simply spelled it out, and my name is really not complicated. It is condescending and rude, but I seriously doubt the staff even cares. If you wish for a bit better treatment, try another Labcorp location if your insurance deems it necessary that you must use this lackluster company. read more

Came here on a Friday morning at 645am. They open at 7am which is great. Doors opened at 7 and I was out of there by 715am. I have been here before where I fainted and woke up on the floor. The technician at that time was not good at all and poked me 7-8 times trying to get my vein. This time I got a technician named Super Martin and he was exactly that- super! It was the easiest bloodwork I have ever had done. He was friendly, full of good energy and put me at ease. I barely felt him insert or remove the needle. Hope he gets the recognition he deserves as he is a wonderful employee. read more

I am on the blood thinner Coumadin and visit the Labcorp on St. George's Ave. in Linden once a week. The receptionists are always extremely busy, yet always find a moment to say "Hello" or "Good Morning." The best phlebotomists are Dolce and Carla. They put you at ease and also speak Spanish. I always make an appointment on-line and never have to wait more than 10 minutes to register and have my blood drawn. I highly recommend the Labcorp in Linden. read more

The phone number for this location is very difficult to get a live person. i needed directions and the automated service was not going to work. i pressed any number and finally got someone on the phone that was not able to give me directions. Really? you can't tell me how you get to your job? so i asked can you tell me what is around there so that i could find that.... either way i found it. my wait was not that long and i didn't have an appointment. there is 0 privacy. the waiting room and the registration is right next to each other. you get registered and then they send you in to the other side and you pretty much crowd up the doorway if there are others also waiting. the phlebotomist didn't seem to me like she knew what she was doing. she had the needle so deep in my vein i swear it was outside the other side of my vein and that is why she wasn't getting any blood. she finally pulled back a bit and it worked. i will be looking for another location if i must get blood drawn again. read more

I must say I had a very quick and professional experience here. It's not many places where you can come to without an appointment and get the type of extensive blood work done that I needed. A employee by the name of Shanell was absolutely wonderful. In addition the ladies in the back made me feel very comfortable and before I knew it my blood samples were collected. I went to LabCorp this past Saturday and want to report that the conditions were deplorable. I have been undergoing multiple tests over the past couple of weeks and each facility I have been to has been on point with adapting their facilities to the whole COVID situation - NOT LabCorp. I have nothing bad to say about the employees. They all seemed to be nice, except for being totally overwhelmed. The place was just a total madhouse. In order to check in on the kiosk, I had to enter the small waiting room, which was packed even though there were workers screaming for everyone to wait outside. There was a big sign that said no more than 7 people in the room, and there must have been 30-40. I then went outside and there were people standing all over the place. I would say that three-quarters of the people had their whole families with them, mother, father, and two, three or four children. Most medical offices inform you beforehand that you need to come by yourself or one other person if you need assistance. I waited about 2 1/2 to 3 hours outside and finally got a text that it was my turn. I went back into the small waiting room, which was still chaos, and went to the desk. After taking my insurance card, the woman gave me a paper cup with a plastic lid (like a coffee cup) and told me to write my name on it and go back to the rest room to provide my urine test. The inside office was more crowded than the waiting room, multiple family members waiting outside the curtains for their person to get blood work, children screaming, employees screaming for patients they were looking for. When I finally got to the rest room, I was appalled at what I saw. Just a line of people holding their paper cups going into the rest room one after the other. The bathroom floor was wet, there were paper towels all over the place, and no toilet paper. There was no attempt to sanitize the rest room after each person entered and from the looks of it, I am sure it had not been touched since they opened that morning. I then asked them what to do with my cup, and they told me to put it on the counter of the sink, where there were about 50 other cups sitting. I then had to go back out into the crowded waiting room to wait for them to call me again. Once I was called again, they handed me a card with the number of the testing stall I was supposed to go to. None of the technicians seemed to know which was person was in which stall. People were coming out and the next person was going in. There was no wiping down of the seats or armrests after each blood test. I do not believe that there were ANY Covid-19 precautions in place at all except for the removal of the chairs from the waiting room and the sign that was hung up stating that no more than 7 people should be in the room, which was not adhered to anyway. And, yes, I could have left, but I just started a new job and could not keep taking off for the multiple tests I needed to get. I feel horrible writing a bad review about this place, but when I left, I felt like I had gone this long without getting Covid, but would surely get it from this facility. It was just absolutely disgusting. read more

This was my first visit to LabCorp of Linden. I cannot believe that this facility has such a low rating! The staff was kind, courteous, and very professional. I was 'in and out' of the facility in less than 1 hour. My intake person spoke clear English and Spanish - an ideal employee for Linden LabCorp. The check-in procedure and intake interview was problem free. Bathroom facilities were exceptionally clean and well stocked. My appointment was for routine blood work. This procedure was administered by an employee named Sidney. She was very polite I felt very comfortable with her taking my blood samples. I had explained to her that I might be a hard 'stick', but she was able to get my needle in on the first try. With that said, I would definetly have no second thoughts of returning to LabCorp Linden for another visit. I am very satisfied with the facility and it's employees. Highly recommended. read more

I had some difficulties at this morning (Thursday March 3rd, 2006) at the Lab Corp facility at 1025 W Saint Georges Ave Ste 1,Linden NJ. Previous to my visit to the facility, I had made an appointment via computer as it is difficult to contact this facility by phone. If I had been able to reach Lab Corp by phone, it would have been much more convenient as I am handicap and my blood work was time sensitive, ( my doctor specified on the prescription that the blood was to be drawn before 8 AM). The earliest appointment I could find available at this facility was 7:30 AM, difficult for me, I have a rather rare autoimmune disorder, polymyositis, it makes it difficult for me to sleep through the night and early rising is problem. I also require assistance dressing and my son took off from work that morning to dress me and drive me to my appointment. My son had some difficulty finding the facility because of poor signage and we arrive about ten minutes late (about 7:40 AM). Realizing I didn't have much time, I signed in and stood before the intake area (uncomfortable on both my walking canes) for a good ten minutes trying to get someones attention but everyone was busy. When I finally got to speak to someone I was asked if I had an appointment, it was still not 8 AM but I was told that I was late and their were other people waiting. On the sign in sheet no one else other than me had checked that they had an appointment or time sensitive testing. After 8:30 I was able to complete other routine work but they would not complete the time sensitive testing and I have not yet rescheduled that testing as it is difficult for me and I require transportation. read more

I've scheduled 2 appointments with this place and both times had the same result - I waited over an hour WITH a scheduled appointment. The first time it happened I asked if it was always like this, and they said no because they only had one tech that day so they were really backed up. I gave them a second chance, still waited over an an hour, and then they could not even draw my blood because they said they didn't have the right test tube for one of my tests in stock. How does a lab not have all test tubes in stock?? So i spent an hour and a half there and got nothing accomplished, other than getting yelled at by my boss for being late back to work on my lunch break. read more

I had to have blood work for my private MD and urine drug testing for a new employer. Ususally I go to the Fanwood location because of the proximity to my home but because the Linden location was so close to my job, I scheduled a lunchtime appointment. BIG mistake! I walked in and thought "hmm, empty, this should be quick". The front desk staff registered me rather quickly then instructed me to "go back". 1) There was no one around to tell me where to go, 2) although I had an appointment and there was only one other person in the clinical area, it took someone 20minutes just to call me so I could pee in a cup! 3) Everyone was speaking Spanish and the Spanish music was blasting 4) the facility was filthy, and the walls dirty and scratched. The ONLY good thing I could say about this lab is the technician who drew my blood was skilled and polite. Otherwise...choose another location. read more

To be honest, the 1 star is because of the nice staff that were in the back! I went there 9/5/18 to get bloodwork done, first off there is NO structure and order there were ppl EVERYWHERE who made their own lines since noone knew where to go. Once I got there & learned I needed to sign in, the intake lady gave me attitude because I didnt see the check-in stations that were ALL occupied by ppl just standing in front of them MAKING THEIR OWN LINES. As I get in the back (which wasnt a long wait because of an appt) I realized the same woman TYPED MY INSURANCE INFO TO another patients personal info (name, address, phone number, etc) he was abt to have bloodwork DONE ON MY DIME. I caught the mistake and brought it to another nurses attention and she swept it away quickly to get it fixed, NO APOLOGY FROM ANYONE. Later I found out that they violated a NUMBER of hippa laws & and i have been instructed to contact corporate asap with my pictures that i took. No apology from anyone and the man before me had no clue that I had any of his personal info smh NEVER AGAIN. The only reason for the 1 star is due to the friendliness of the rest of the staff once I got to the back. They all greeted me with smiles, if you ask me THEY should be at the front desk instead of who was there that day. read more

I have gone to this Labcorp several times in the past few years and know that going early without an appointment you will be expected to wait long. The last few times I went there I was in and out in less than an hour and was satisfied with the service. The front desk should have training on customer service skills because after all the years I have been going only once I had a nice receptionist. I took my son to a visit this week and decided to go later in the morning to avoid the morning rush . There were only two patients before us so I figured we would be in and out. The front desk person was so rude towards people coming in and also was not friendly while registering my son either. I went to the back to get his blood drawn and luckily there was no one else waiting for blood work. I noticed that all the lab techs. went on break at the same time and left us sitting there for 20 minutes. Finally one of the techs. came out and said that they would be with us shortly. At that point another patient walked in and sat down. All the techs. came out about 5 minutes later and decided to draw the blood of the patient who walked in 20 minutes after we had been sitting there. I was so upset at that point and made a comment to the tech. who could have cared less. It's sad that customer service is not a requirement for this location since they figure that patients will still come if their insurance makes them go there. The staff is forever changing so sometimes you get good lab techs. and sometimes you don't. I don't think they will ever have a friendly front desk staff since that does not seem to matter after so many years. The place could also use a new paint job because the walls appear dirty. read more
