I've been to worse Labcorps, i like my regular phlebotomist here she's very good and that's why i stay with this one. The front desk is a different story, the regular lady is usually pretty rude and yesterday they had a younger girl with white and purple hair who was also rude. It's like they don't realize they're dealing with people who are getting bloodwork, no one wants to have to get bloodwork, best case scenario it's routine yearly stuff but I've often had to get bloodwork to continue getting different medications, to rule in or out things like cancer, etc all things that are already anxiety causing. No one needs to be treated poorly by a front desk person at a box place. This time though was extra special since they decorated for Easter...i don't mind bunnies, flowers, etc but I'm 0% religious and didn't really appreciate having it shoved in my face. read more

I'm a regular at Sonoran quest but since my company paid for my wellness exam that included bloodwork, I went to Labcorp yesterday. The employees were less than moderately friendly and they were super busy too. One thing I liked is that it shows your initials on TV screen for all the walk-in's and appointments. Because other LabCorp have shut their doors around me, this was the closest one, and I guess serves the entire East Valley. I attempted to call to see how busy they were, no answer, and when I pressed the number to speak with somebody in the office, it gave me the fax number and disconnected me. After arriving, the lobby was completely full and you had to check in on a kiosk. I'm not sure why they have a desk at all as they don't check you in and they don't answer their phones. I usually don't expect any clinics, hospitals, or laboratories to have a rating above 2.5 stars, but I was surprised to see some reviews mentioning lack of cleanliness or rude staff at this location. That was not my experience at all. I arrived at 9:00 AM for my 9:30 AM appointment and the staff was helpful and friendly to everyone, even patients who were frustrated or rude. I was checked in and my order was confirmed by 9:17 AM, my samples were drawn at 9:31 AM, and I was out the door by 9:36 AM. By far the fastest and most efficient service I've ever received at a lab. The phlebotomist was gentle and kind! I barely felt a small pinch when the needle went in. Overall, this was a great experience and I'd definitely recommend this Labcorp location. read more

No appointment, walked in, kiosk was hiding by the door. Told me to come back at 3:30-meanwhile the place was empty. Left, phone rings: Teresa saying hold up, we're wide open, come back! She fixed it fast. And Wendy? She was perfect-warm, funny, explained every step so I forgot to be scared, needle never even stung. Results next morning. I had a 7:45 appointment for blood work today where I had to fast. When I got there to check in, I was asked for my doctor's paperwork since their computers were down. Now what person is going to have the actual paperwork at 7:45am Monday morning when this appointment was made 3 weeks out. Your company needs to do a better job of notifying people prior to the appointment. I wasted 30 minutes of my work day for absolutely NOTHING!! I am extremely unhappy and will request my doctor send me elsewhere. Plus, your staff is absolutely rude!! Experience was a fast enough. I went in for some blood work. Kiosk sign in made it simple to check in and they have a screen so you can see where you stand in line. The front desk ladies are not very eager to do more than the bare minimum and it shows. Every question or concern about being checked in was shrugged off or not answered at all. My husband is taking part of the morning off today to get a fasting draw. The first issue is that the doors did NOT open until 7:05. My husband says that the first person was called back about 7:20. There are 10 people in front of him. I have a feeling that at least some of those folks have tight schedules, as well. Where is the timeliness and professionalism???!!! We realize that life happens, so, even if we excuse opening five minutes late, there is absolutely no excuse for starting a very long line of blood draws, etc., 20 minutes AFTER opening! If it were not for your customers, you wouldn't have a business, please be professional and considerate of them. This was a few weeks ago . . . Most recently, 7:01 comes and the doors are not open! Went to the greenfield location in mesa az and Wendy was my phlebotomist and I have very small deep veins that usually require an ultrasound machine to locate them but Wendy knew exactly how to deal with this sort of issue and found a vein in my hand and was painless and quick and very pleased with the whole process. No waiting at all and I didn't leave bruised or looking like a human pin cushion as a result of multiple needle pokes to find a vein. I would recommend this location. read more

The woman at the front desk didn't say anything to me despite the fact that I was standing at the desk waiting. Once she felt like acknowledging me all she said was "the bloodwork check in is behind you." That's great, but not why I was waiting- I had a question. When I informed her that I had a question about whether I should have a walk-in session in lieu of my appointment that I arrived early for and if I should reschedule online if I need to, she quickly stated "well you won't be seen before then." Again, great, but not what I was asking. She didn't say anything else to me aside from that. Better interpersonal and listening skills could have made my experience drastically different but apparently I didn't deserve that. Unreal. This was first time going to this facility. The two women at front desk should not be working there. They ignored people walking in then were rule when they were asked a question. i will never go back to that location again. Told my DR anymore tests would need to be somewhere else. He agreed. We have another appointment at 8:00 and don't have time to go to another location before. Experience I had getting blood work here was more like if Zootopia was set in. Medical center instead of the DMV. 30 people who had been waiting for hours to see a doctor. Eventually the secretary asked for my paperwork. Eventually a doctor came out of their office to next patient. Unfortunately I am borderline diabetic and I get very sick if I have to wait that long to get my blood drawn when I have to fast and I will not be going here anymore because it seemed like a bunch of slow moving sloths worked there read more

The front desk and blood draw person were unprofessional, rude, poor communicators, lazy and just plain unpleasant. I came in 30 minutes early and waited 30 minutes past my appointment time, When I approached the desk to see how much longer a wait, i just received sneers and the "I was just about to call you", BS. When i was brought back to get the blood drawn she literally said four words to me; Birth date? Which arm? It was a fasting draw, she did not ask if i had fasted, did not ask what blood work I was in for. The front desk did not verify anything other than my birth date. K, so I am a moron when it comes to health-care. I'm in my 30's now and things are coming up. So now I need to start getting blood drawn and I need to use my health-care. I went to 2 Labcorps now. This one and the location on Power and Broadway. Both were horrible. I made appointments at both (thank God because the wait time without appointments were about 1 1/2 hours!!!) Also, I never, ever, in all my experiences with businesses experienced more mean, uncaring, unprofessional and incompetent staff. I say incompetent because right off they demanded my insurance information. I gave to them. They took it, photo copied it and then put it in my file. I have a major health-care provider (top 2) but never was I told Labcorp was out of network. Talk about a courtesy! This happened at 2 locations. I did not learn about it until both claims were denied by my insurance (several weeks later.) I had other issues with Labcorp as well which I won't get into but these issues made me have to stay over an hour past my appointment time. I had to call my doctor and have her school them on how to take my blood before I finally got out of there! Depending on your insurance, Labcorp pretty much has a monopoly and you don't have much choice but I can recommend you avoid this location and the Power and Broadway locations. Yikes! read more

I'm so mad at myself for taking my 1 year old baby to this location, they are so mean, first of all you don't need three people to draw your blood, there not professionals they inserted the needle without finding the vein first and moving the needle from one side to the other inside the arm and couldn't get one drop of blood, then another lady comes in and does the same thing to the other hand, got me so mad that I had to tell them to stop they shouldn't have people like this working there. On Feb 4 I went to lab corp on Broadway to give blood which was to be sent somewhere else for a reading. It is now February 12 and I still have no feedback. The time before I was given the next day.
