Letter sent to Quest after my experience at their Dover facility on 8/2/2021:…read more I am a long-time Quest patient and have always touted my satisfactory experience, as compared to LabCorp. And I would like to take the time to report to you my experience at your Dover location today and why I'm never going back there ever. I arrived at approximately 8:25am and was 3rd-in-line at the entry kiosk (or whatever it's called) where patients type themselves in. No Quest employee was in the room. An elderly man was trying to enter his information and seemed hopelessly lost and confused, tho to his credit, he kept at it. After awhile, the lady in line directly behind him attempted to render assistance. She too became confused and a woman in the waiting room got up and assisted. She returned to her seat but then had to get back up and assist the woman as well. [Your data entry system is confusing. There needs to be a person from Quest there to assist.] I entered my info at ~8:40am and selected the earliest appointment option, 9:20am. I went out into my car to kill some time. At about 9:05am i returned. At about 9:10am another person was called whom the Video Display on the wall indicated had the same 9:20am appointment time as me. At 9:15am a man came in, entered his info and stood waiting. He was called back almost immediately. 9:20am came and went. I am the only person in the waiting room at this time. 9:25am. I am the only person in the waiting room at this time. 9:30am. I am the only person in the waiting room at this time. 9:35am. I am the only person in the waiting room at this time. At this point I am agitated and decide to stand at the entrance of the phlebotomist alcove to prevent them from ignoring me any longer, or another patient waltzing in and past me. At about 9:40am i am called back to Cubicle #2. To my misery, it's Wait-Some-More! The phlebotomist who directed me became engaged in a clerical help session with the phlebotomist in Cubicle #1. After almost 10 minutes of listening to this back-and-forth, I could no longer contain myself and called out, saying something like "How 'bout you take care of me and then go back to your clerical work because I GOTTA GO!" They acted like they didn't hear me, continuing, but for less than a minute. My phlebotomist was then abrupt with me but did her job. I will never go back. Ever. Nothing at LabCorp was ever as bad as this experience.

I should have known better than to think the woman working at Quest would have the courtesy to let…read moreme know that, even though I had waited 45 minutes, scheduled appointments will always take precedence. It makes sense, but I actually thought it was mostly walk-ins. It's funny, also, how long these scheduled appointments took! Lots of chatting going on. I say I should have known better based on a previous experience. I arrived after work and was there about 20 minutes before closing. Wow was she ever agitated with me! Luckily she got me taken care of in about 5 minutes. I was grateful she told me about all the paperwork she still had to do after I left. I SO enjoy having an illness and hearing all about the trials and tribulations and how very much I am inconveniencing the phlebotomist. A real class act this employee is! (Said with utmost sarcasm!). What a difference a kind word would have made in my day. Happily, the hospital doing the rest of my testing today can also perform the blood test. I will never go to Quest again.

My husband was not feeling well, coughing all night x3 days…read more We are from Philly. We are here for a wedding sadly husband was not feeling and went to this facility. The front office check in was easy. Before I go on, we went on a Saturday morning 930am. When we arrived we were greeted by the receptionist. From there we were then asked to fill up information on line. Shortly we were taken to a room. About 10 min later the Md came in. I liked the md's mannerisms. He listen to my husband's complaint. I was impressed. He said, I will get you better before you leave here. The Md listened to his lungs. The then the nurse came in and gave my husband 60 mg of prednisone and a Neb tx. After the Neb tx was done , the Md game in and states that my husband needs to go and get a chest X-ray. It was around the corner , walking distance. The chest X-ray was taken and advised to go back to the urgent care. We were taken to a room awaiting the results of the chest X-ray. Thank god, it was neg for pneumonia but starting with bronchitis. The Md prescribed prednisone x 1 month, abtx and inhaler I highly recommend this urgent care walk in. My husband really appreciates that the Md listened to his complaints

You don't want to sit there and be exposed to everyone sickness Staff wear masks but nearly no one in waiting area wears a mask!! One person was sneezing blowing nose and leaving snot filled tissues on the chair next !!! I am stuck with this provider now using welfare clinic approaches to healthcare!!!! Ugh beware !!!

I want to thank Tim Mogelesky not only for the thorough inspection he conducted of my soon-to-be…read morehome but also for his calm and respectful demeanor while explaining the report to me and particularly to my mom. You see, my mom, hate to say it, can be quite snappy and aggressive and has tested other's patience in plenty a business transaction. Tim, however, never raised his voice, never got annoyed, and throughout the conversation calmly and thoroughly explained each item in the report and addressed each and every concern that she had, which unfortunately as I've seen is not a trait everyone has. Will note of course that Tim did an excellent job at the home inspection being very detail oriented throughout. He also took the time to explain everything to me during the inspection. It made me feel better to have someone as knowledgeable and pleasant as Tim to do my inspection and to help put me at ease. Not to beat a dead horse, but want to say again that Tim's patience, calm demeanor, and willingness to accommodate the concerns of others is an invaluable trait and one that every home inspector should have.
