After seeing Tiger's reviews, we decided to give them a try. Unlike a few other local companies we had called, Will was extremely responsive, customer service oriented, and offered very competitive pricing. He delivered a clean, freshly painted dumpster to the house the very next day, and was completely understanding and flexible when we asked to keep it a few extra days on the back end. Plus, he was a very honest, kind, and friendly guy who responded to every text I sent in mere minutes. I wouldn't hesitate to call Tiger again for any dumpster needs and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area. PS I just want to be clear that this isn't one of those biased personal plugs. We live way up on the Northshore and this was our very first time having to rent a dumpster down in the Saugus/Melrose/Lynnfield area. I got a message that I would get a confirmation by phone or email that day. By 4:30pm, I had no confirmation, so I called and was told (without ever being asked for my name, or any other identifier) that he had no order for a dumpster from me. I questioned how he would know this without ever asking for the name of the person calling, and he just chuckled. I was kind of surprised by his attitude so I said I would just take my business elsewhere; now he wanted to know when I needed the dumpster, etc. I said that I had wanted it for the next day, but I assumed at that point, it was too late. He asked what community I was calling from, and when I told him, he just said "hmmmmmm". I have no idea what he meant by that - is my city too far away, or not upscale enough for him? What he said to me next (in an annoyed tone of voice) was what really got me upset - "Well, it would be really tight. You know, some people just want to ruin their whole weekend spending it trying to fill one of those silly things up....." I was literally speechless at that moment. I'll admit, I was already a bit sensitive about the whole project since my dad had recently passed away, and I was not looking forward to the task of tossing all of his yard things and unfinished projects into a dumpster, but why would someone ever say something like that to a prospective customer??? Most people ONLY have the weekend to do house projects because they work all week long, and besides, according to the website, you get the dumpster for two weeks, so why would he assume I was going to "ruin my weekend". What I think is that I was going to ruin HIS weekend by having the dumpster delivered on a Friday afternoon (which, by the way, is considered a WEEKDAY and I'm pretty sure that most businesses have Friday as a working day.) Anyway, I was appalled at how he treated me, and just wanted to give fair warning before anyone attempts to do business with Progressive Disposal........especially for a "weekend" dumpster delivery.
