The office staff was very helpful. I see many rave reviews; but I did not come away with the same feeling. The initial comment was that I have significant hearing loss (which I knew) and there were three options available to me and I was given prices first, and then some degree of explanation. I just didn't find a comfort level and felt that the purpose of the visit was for me to choose an option as though we were just going through the motions. When I mentioned my tinnitis and explained that I am used to it by now, the answer was that then we don't need to address it. I would have liked to hear what strategies there are to minimize it. I cannot say enough positives about Labyrinth Audiology, Dr. Danesh and Dr. Jones, as they are as knowledgeable and professional as could be. I wanted a hearing test (as it had been years since my last one) and an adjustment to the fit on one of my hearing aids that I purchased from them approximately 5 years ago. They performed the hearing tests, diagnosed the changes in my hearing and adjusted my hearing aid's programming accordingly, plus adjusted the fit on one of them all in a timely fashion. I have been trying to get my almost 90 year old father to get hearing aids for years. When he contacted me and said, it was time, I had to jump on it. I did some research and came upon Labyrinth Audiology. I am really particular about this as I am a speech pathologist and I know the importance of finding a qualified provider, especially with my dad being somewhat tentative about the whole thing. I cannot say enough how wonderful and caring Dr. Danesh and his staff were. My dad was not always the easiest patient and they were SO gentle, empathic and patient with him. They did an amazing job of fitting him with the aids and I will say it has been life-changing for him. He is no longer an outsider with conversations, he can hear the T.V. and his voice volume is appropriate and he is no longer yelling when he is talking. He has also returned to their clinic a few times on his own to get help when he was having trouble with one of the aids and they were always happy to help him. I think his biggest regret was that he didn't do this sooner. Dr. Danesh and Kelly Jones, as well as the office staff, were so professional. Had a terrible experience. Typical "Bait and Switch". Unprofessional. care more about the money than the patient. They are a Resound hearing aids affiliate, I have Resound hearing aids under warranty. I was quoted a price for the hearing test. Then I was charged 50 dollars for "shipping and handling". Two small hearing aids for 50 dollars? I did not buy them from them so then I was told 150 to program them. All these extra charges were not quoted up front. My 95 dollar hearing test became 300 dollars BUT they were not able to program the hearing aids. Though they are Resounds representatives Their equipment could not sync with my hearing aids. Therefore they could not put the new program needed as a result of the new hearing test. Basically I paid 150 dollars to walk out with hearing aids that were fixed under warranty and a program for my hearing test a year ago. read more

I have suffered from tinnitus , as well as a high frequency hearing loss for 43 years .I have consulted with many Doctors , most of whom shrugged their shoulders & said I should learn to live with it. Dr. Danesh was the first to acknowledge my condition as well as come up with a solution.I have always understood that there is no cure for tinnitus, but there are several ways in which tinnitus can be managed. We discussed actions like Habituation as well as other issues such as fitting me with a pair of hearing aids , which not only improved my hearing, but also assisted the management of my problems. Dr. Rebecca Anderson is fantastic and I highly recommend her. She has been so informative and provided so much support for my son. She has such extensive knowledge in auditory processing and various other learning struggles. Her reports were very thorough and they enabled me to get the help I needed for my son. Her understanding of how the school system operates in regards to requesting accommodations and services has helped me so much. I don't know where we would be today without her assessment and helping us identify areas where he needed help. I noticed that I was struggling to hear in many situations and a hearing evaluation confirmed that indeed I had a mild to moderate loss, treatable only with hearing aids. Dr. Danesh was recommended to me. After he prescribed the correct hearing aids, I was shocked at what I had been missing.
