There had been a recent snowfall so the lake was completely covered with snow. It was like being in a magical land without any noise. It was so quiet as we walked around. We hardly saw anyone out. I'm sure it's a bustling spot in the spring and summer and we look forward to coming back here.

While we didn't have time to rent a water-bike or kayak, we saw many people enjoying a variety of water activities. Next time we would stop for longer and kayak the Verdon gorge.
