They had a welcome sign with a wine glass full of some of my fave candies! I had a glass of Moscato while Dom was working on my hair and make up. She did a phenomenal job!! It didn't take her long to get the look I was wanting. The environment was very laid back and chill. I didn't feel rushed or nervous/anxious. Doug turned on some music to listen to while Dom worked on me. When hair and make up were done, I picked out which outfits I wanted to take pics in, and Doug and I discussed the logistics of which poses I wanted in what outfits. If you aren't sure what poses you want to do, never fear! Dawn and Doug have done their homework and have some excellent simple yet elegant poses that turn out as wonderful pics you'll absolutely adore! During the shoot, the mood was light and carefree yet still professional. Dawn helped me with making sure hair looked good and with positioning. There was never a time where I felt awkward or embarrassed. Dawn and Doug are wonderful people with hearts of gold that will go out of their way to help someone if need be, and that is reflected in their photography and how they interact with their client during the shoot. I loved that we had fun while we did the shoot. We laughed and joked around, which helped keep the atmosphere light and laid back. To anyone thinking about doing one of these shoots, I strongly recommend doing it!! Even if you don't have a significant other tongive the pics to...I did my shoot for me...to make me feel special and attractive, and the pics definitely met their purpose and exceeded my expectations!! They turned out beautiful, and I can't thank Doug and Dawn enough for allowing me to book the session and helping me thru the session. Huge thank you to Doug and Dawn and Dom for making me feel like the most important person on earth for the few hours we were doing the shoot.
