Six of us had a lovely meal at Laden. I've never been in a friendlier place. The owner dropped by to talk. The two waitresses -- one Danish, one Spanish -- provided excellent service. The food was great. And there was even live music starting around 8 pm. Most of us had the flounder with the famous Samsø potatoes. Others had beautifully prepared salmon. We had a white Italian wine although some had beer. For dessert pandekager with ice cream. It was a perfect evening with dear friends. This was an evening and meal we will remember. Even though Laden was crowded, it was still quiet enough for conversation. Make a reservation on Friday and Saturday nights. And probably in high season as well. read more
