I'm not giving my credit card information just to make an appointment. Hard Pass. I tried to make an appointment for a full highlight after seeing glowing reviews. No one picks up the phone. Ok. Attempted to make appointment online which was a spectacular PITA and I ended up having to use my appleID because I didn't have the type of email address they wanted only to have them expect my credit card just to make the appointment. I'm not entering my credit card info for them to "hold the funds" for an appointment. That's a Hard Pass. So I didn't book anything. I'll get my hair highlighted elsewhere. read more

I'm writing this review after trying to contact the salon multiple times to seek resolution for my negative experience. After over a week of no response, I believe this experience needs to be shared for others considering this salon. I recently moved to River Place and was looking for a salon close to my home. My previous salon in Cedar Park was great, but the drive was longer than I wanted to continue. I contacted this salon and set an appointment for about a week out. The day before the appointment, my stylist contacted me directly, explaining she had an important doctor's appointment and asked to reschedule for the next day, which I agreed to. When I arrived at the salon, it was empty except for my stylist. She did not greet me and seemed surprised to see me. I introduced myself and was seated in a chair. The introduction was awkward at best. The stylist immediately mentioned she wouldn't be talking much because her throat hurt and she had a bandage on it, presumably from her doctor's visit. I tried to be understanding and after I explained what I wanted and showed some pictures of my past hair, I put in headphones so she wouldn't feel pressured to talk and frankly because the situation was extremely awkward. Here are the issues I encountered during the appointment: 1. My hair cut is completely botched and every day I look in the mirror I want to cry. I asked for a tapered bob that was a little shorter in the back and a little longer in the front with light layering. My haircut is uneven with random pieces long/short throughout and very harsh layering. I didn't realize how off the cut was until I got home but with the short length (chin length bob) I feel I have little I can do besides wait for it to grow out and then get it cleaned up. The haircut is my biggest complaint and if the haircut was done well, I most likely would not be writing this review. 2. My end hair color was not the color I asked to achieve and showed photos of. I've been getting the same color for several years. Coming into the salon, my hair was out of date by several weeks which I acknowledged early on. At the end of the appointment, we talked about the color not being right and I felt I didn't have options besides waiting another 8 weeks and paying for another appointment or risking severe damage to try again immediately. I'm aware my hair had some grow out but if achieving my requested color was impossible, we should have talked about it at the start of the appointment so I could decide to continue or leave. I do think another stylist could have gotten my hair right and what I asked for was not unreasonable. I've been out of date before, most notably by several months during Covid, and my previous salon was able to bring me right back at my first appointment. 3. Despite telling me at the start of the appointment she couldn't talk, my stylist had no problem talking continuously with other stylists when they came into the studio. I cannot emphasize enough how cold of a reception I received at this salon. There was no small talk or effort put forward by my stylist, she did not even ask how I was. I'm choosing not to name the stylist in this review because I'm not clear on her situation. Hearing her talk to other stylists, it was clear she had a semi-invasive procedure the day before and was in pain. I don't know if she was pressured by the salon to come in and complete her appointments or if she did this on her own accord. Regardless, it was entirely clear she should not have been working and was not fit to provide quality service. I regret not bringing these problems forward immediately at the salon but the entire situation was extremely uncomfortable. I reached out to the salon for the first time the same day hoping to discuss and come to a resolution but as mentioned, I have not heard back from anyone for over a week. This salon is described as high end with high end pricing. My experience was anything but and I urge others to not risk the same experience I had. read more

Brooke is the only colorist I trust with my blonde hair. Not everyone looks good with ash blonde. Why do colorists want to make me look grey?? Anyway, Brooke is the owner, and she clearly loves what she does. She is really friendly. The clients and stylists are always chatting and cackling like hens. So fun! p.s. I was in the salon when Ranch G came in. She was irrational and rude. I think Lady & Saint dodged a bullet with her never coming back. read more

My colorist moved to Dallas and I got a really bad highlight job done on my hair, so I asked my neighbor who she goes to and she sent me to Kim at Lady & Saint for corrective coloring, she did an amazing job, no more ORANGE and my hair is super soft! Thanks, Kim! I highly recommend her! read more

I made an appointment for Brooke to do my hair color. Super nice lady. She consulted with me then I was handed off to her trainee (also very nice) who was fresh out of school. Brooke left the salon an hour later. She did not stay to supervise or see what the final color was like. My hair turned out O.K. but I was left in the hands of a very, very new stylist and I actually booked the appointment with the owner of the salon. I did not get a discount for a trainee and paid for "Brooke level prices." The salon has a relaxed, neighborhood vibe. Just make sure who you book with is who will get the service. read more

OMG! To say Brooke is a blonde specialist goddess is an understatement! It is soooooooo hard to find great colorists in Austin and I found Brooke thankfully! Just look at my blonde hair-STUNNING isn't it? ;0) Seriously, if you want gorgeous, healthy and AMAZING BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS, LOOK NO FURTHER! What else can I say?? OH and Brooke is a delight! Super personable and it's like getting your hair done by your BFF! The staff? AMAZING! Of course! I had long black hair and decided to make a change and go to a blonde Balayage. Well I got my hair done by a I won't say her name but a stylist and it came out awful! My hair looked Orange it was AWFUL. She didn't talk me through anything or education me as good as I though she should have! I walked out with ORANGE HAIR, I was so unhappy! Felt so bad about how I looked. I paid so much money to HATE IT and need more sessions which she didn't mention till until we were to far in! I would rather wear my hair up and avoided looking at myself, IT WAS SO BAD! I HAD TO GET IT FIXED!!!!! I looked and researched and google for The Best Blonde specialist and I finally found Kelsey!!!! She saved my hair and my self-esteem! I am so so so thankful that I found her! I really wanted to love my hair. But I just don't and it's such a huge bummer. I came in wanting the red out of my hair and to keep as much length as possible while getting rid of some bad ends. And shaggy style layers that frame my face and taper around it so I can tie my hair up and have face framing strands. I got just a basic dark brown flat color no highlights and the hair was cut a lot more than I wanted. What I thought would be an inch looks more like two and a half. The face framing pieces are uneven. Left side of my face completely different from right and I wanted a center part so I don't know what to do with it. This cost me 160 which is a lot more than I ever paid for a flat color (no lowlights no highlights no balayage) and an uneven hair cut which was not exactly what I asked for. Granted I can see the attempt. In pics you can see how one side of these face framing pieces look completely different from the other . I'm supposed to go out tonight and I have hair dye stains all over the side of my head. It was in the front too which I scrubbed off as much as I could. Last time I had this many stains on my skin is when I dyed it myself. I really tried to like it and the color is nice but I came home trying to make different styles work and I'm just not liking it at all. At least it's healthier.... I am new to Austin and was hoping to find a great stylist at Lady & Saints, that did not happen, and I will not be going back. From the minute I walked in it was total confusion. My stylist was Natalie, I sat in her chair for a good 5 minutes waiting for her to finish her conversation with someone in the back. She was not personable, acted as if I was an inconvenience. She had another girl shampoo my hair, I was once again seated at her station with wet hair while I had to wait for her again having a conversion with another stylist. She returned, cut my hair then told me the girl walking around with the ipad would check me out and left. She was absolutely not worth the $100.00 she charged for the cut. I arrived at 12:00, was out the door at 12:50 pm. She mentioned to me she was also new to Austin, she is going to have a difficult time building clientele if this is always how she works with clients. read more

This is my first ever review but I felt so inclined after my experience with Natalie to rate my experience ! I'm new to Austin and have been searching for the best hairstylist that fit my vibe and Natalie was super personal (also new to Austin) and had me leaving the salon feeling brand new. All the ladies at the salon were very busy but they were all super sweet and shared a lot of recommendations for around town and things to do. I've been seeing Kim Batiz for my cuts and colors :) since I moved to Austin 5 years ago, I definitely had some disappointments at previous salons, so after finding this place it was like a God send! I was always basic with my hair, and didn't have a clue about what would work for me, but Kim's styling totally changed my whole look and it's so much better!! I am a brunette and I don't color my hair. Since they specialize in blondes I was a bit nervous coming in, but the haircut was great. I just moved to Austin and was looking for a stylist that specializes in blondes. I naturally have very dark brown hair and wanted someone who could do magic on my hair and transform it to a beautiful blonde. I found Lady & Saint on Instagram and was very impressed with their work and their reviews. I scheduled my consultation with Jax and showed her pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like. She explained the process and scheduled my appointment. When the time came, we went over the pictures again to confirm the shade of blonde I wanted. She worked her magic and checked on my hair consistently as she went through the various steps of bleaching, toning and coloring. I figured it might take a few appointments to get to the super light blonde shade I wanted. To my surprise, after she did the final shampoo and revealed my hair, I couldn't believe my eyes! My hair was the perfect shade of blonde that I was dreaming of ! I went from a completely very dark brunette to a beautiful bright blonde shade! There was no brassiness whatsoever! I took my daughter in for help with her very thick, course, natural hair. Brooke handled it with ease and was able to give my 10 year old a haircut that 1)my daughter loved and 2)we can both manage at home. Brooke listened to what we needed and came up with a cut that eliminated the meltdowns at home when we have to brush through her hair.
