Iam glad I tried it - the burger felt like a 1/2 pounder, juicy and seasoned, yet still cooked perfect. The fries are seasoned, very crispy and came with the burger which I liked. They had a great line up of burgers, I'd love to try another. The Knockout burger was fantastic, but the Cowboy burger on texas toast sounded great as well. You'll quickly leave the 17 to 20 dollar range if you leave sandwiches, but the service, the portions, and the quality make it worth a treat. First time dining in at the oceanfront restaurant in hotel . This place was a perfect spot for lunch it's attach to the Hilton hotel and with dine in only they did do complementary Valet parking, which was nice, especially at the oceanfront. We were able to seat anywhere we chose the booth hightop where we had a perfect view of the ocean water and we even saw dolphins passing through while are stay. The atmosphere is perfect for that more intimate experience for lunch and dinner and the light decor was nice and unique with cozy seating with perfect views of the ocean water . We came during restaurant week this spot was very good from the service the space and food we did their $20 lunch menu which included appetizers and entrees portions were definitely worth the option they had. I did the Caesar salad, a nice light salad surprisingly to start off with the entrée which was their burger and that burger was well seasoned well prepared delicious it's honestly my favorite will be back again for it during the summertime or another dine in plus you can do either the lunch or dinner option anytime during restaurant week the only difference is dinner gives you a dessert and that is $35 per person. The drink was a good choice to pair with our food. my favorite was their orange crush a perfect classic for the beach. Definitely a drink to have in the summer if you want a good crush they got an option with different flavors I did the original orange crush which was light and sweet. Check your statement after you eat here. Our bill was $36.96 and the charge hit our card at $73.92, exactly double. Looks like we're not the only ones either, a few other reviews mention the same thing. We called a few days later and were told we'd get a callback. Never happened. Called again a week after that, sat on hold 15+ minutes, and got hung up on. Called right back and now nobody answers the phone at all. So we're filing a dispute with our bank to get our money back. Mistakes happen, but not answering the phone when someone's trying to fix an obvious overcharge is a choice. read more

The food here was pretty good considering it's in a hotel by the beach which I feel tends to be more of tourist trap restaurants. They did a DoorDash happy hr from like 3-5pm so we picked up some bites and they were pretty good and quick. The staff, even for a quick pick up, could not be more rude. The front desk person was missing for at least 5 mins from when we got there and then took the longest time to walk over to us and made us repeat ourselves - it was just giving off a carefree, bad attitude. We were staying at the Hilton and were surprised that it was only a 20 minute wait for a party of 5 on the Saturday night of Labor Day weekend. After our experience...not so much of a surprise. She's the only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. Kids Mac and cheese was so bland and watery I couldn't blame my son for refusing to eat it. I had the prime rib special and was told it comes medium, which is fine. When it arrived, it looked like a brown slab. It had no seasoning and came with a mayonnaise type horseradish sauce (the only reason I could eat it) and some type of brown sauce that was maybe a mix of au just and bbq. DO NOT ORDER THIS! Had a spare few hours to fill in so came to the beach and googled a good oceanfront place for a meal. Seated quickly, server was bar server so his attention was focused with those at the bar and not so much us at a table. Place was nicely set out, oceanfront position, however all windows were filthy with greasy handprints, kinda spoils the view and second guesses the cleanliness of the place. Quite a choice there. I had a shrimp salad. Portion was super big but i did not really like the food. Had a bit of work to remove the shell from the shrimp. Waitress/service was great though. Staying in town for a tournament and due to weather wanted something within walking distance to our hotel. Found Lager Heads via yelp and a group of six of us all went for lunch. Place was really nice inside, loved the open kitchen look and expo area being clean and modern. Nice size bar and right amount of seating. Our service was great, attentive server, quick food delivery and drinks constantly refilled. She was very friendly as well. We all got something different and everyone liked what they got. Some of us saw huge Cobb salads coming out and wish we'd have gotten one lol. My hangover burger was cooked to perfection, super juicy and well seasoned. Their ranch was great for fry dipping. We stopped by Lager Heads located at 3315 Atlantic Avenue to grab a bite to eat. It's hard to beat the view of the Atlantic Ocean here. It was very calm today and it looked like you could see for miles. They weren't busy so we were able to score a couple of seats at Horseshoe shaped bar, overlooking the boardwalk. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We decided to try the chicken wings with their hot sauce. When they arrived, it took my breath away, they were piping hot and the aroma was wafting out everywhere. Once they were cool enough to touch I grabbed the drumstick and took a bite. I was very pleasantly surprised by the crunch and the amazing flavor in these delicious wings. They were cooked perfectly with the inside hot and the outside crunchy and then tossed with the beautiful sauce. These were some of the best wings I have ever had, bar none, and I'm someone who knows good wings! Bartender with longer brown/blonde hair has major attitude. Always wear tight black leggings. Clearly hates her job or making money. It took a long time to get our food after our order was taken and our server basically didn't show up for 15 minutes after our food was delivered (by someone else) to see if we needed anything. We got a Cowboy burger which is a huge burger with BBQ sauce and cheese on Texas toast. I didn't try it but stepson said it's a win. We also got a basket of fries on the side which was huge for only $3.50 and a small cup of soup which rotates daily and was a delicious brisket stew. I got a small garden salad for $9.99 which I felt was a bit overpriced with only lettuce, onion, tomato, and crouton. They have a ton of burgers on the menu here and some inventive options. A bunch of handhelds which are sandwiches, salads, and entrees with fish. Also a ton of starters and apps. Once our food came, every single dish for everyone at the table was bad. I ordered the spinach dip and the crab stuffed flounder. The spinach dip was sour and the crab stuffed flounder was obviously frozen and over cooked. The entire dish had a consistency of mashed potatoes. You could not tell there was crab as everything was just mush. My wife's nachos "had a funny" taste to them and my daughter's Mac and cheese also tasted sour. When the waitress came by when we were ready to pay, it was obvious nobody liked their food because our entire order was barely touched. No questions and no attempt to make sure everything was ok. We are staying in a pet friendly hotel and this restaurant is located on the first floor of inside the hotel and the restaurant manager didn't allow me and my Bambina to eat in the restaurant. He said they don't allow dogs so I said I will leave. We did have takeout on the first night, flat pizza, tossed salad and beef nacho s. I liked pizza. They need to change the pet policy to a pet friendly restaurant or they should find a new location. She wanted to sit on the deck, but was told it was closed due to rain, even though it wasn't raining and other nearby restaurants had their decks open. The hostess eventually agreed to let us sit outside. Unfortunately, once seated, the service was unacceptable. We were ignored by two servers, and when another finally came out, she was laughing in a way that made it seem as though she had "drawn the short straw" to serve us. We came to explore their beer, assuming by the name that they brewed their own beer, but they do not. We got the loaded fries to start, which tasted great. The fries were perfect, soft on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside. I got the mahi sandwich, which was okay, nothing to write home about. There was too much bread for the small piece of fish, and it needed more sauce. My mom got the southwest salad, which she said was really good and a huge portion. My husband got the crab stuffed tuna, which he said was well cooked and seasoned, but needed more sauce to be able to flavor the plain rice with. My dad got the beef tips, which he said were standard beef tips like you get anywhere. He did say that the teriyaki sauce was really good and had a good amount to coat the rice.
