I saw the 'Cascata del marmore' of Terni twice, once from the summit of the precipice, and again from the valley below. The ocean is a great way to cool down, but even under the umbrellas it gets hot after a while. This place here offers some nice natural shade. Many locals around here. Some picknicking on some of the tables and some even laying on their beach towels. It's nice, clean and safe little park with beautiful trees. And also a good option for a stroll, if the street gets too hot for you (and maybe your pet). Surely a nice spot in this lovely beach town.

The stalagmites and stalactites kept me enthralled for hours inside this upside down world wonderland. A Hollywood set without the pretension and plastic! Today the caves are open to the public and the public can visit them, accompanied by professional guides, along an easy tourist route that lasts about 75 minutes. There is also a nearby car park, which offers a bizarre selection of local delicacies and tourist tat.

This park is clearly designed for this. Whenever we are in Terni, we take advantage of walking here with cousins. The park really comes alive on weekends with couples, families, and groups enjoying picnics as well as strolls. One negative is the need for park maintenance.
