She truly listens to all of my concerns and values my input about my eye health and is professional and caring. Her staff works together like a family and are all so nice. No matter how much I may have to call, Monica at the front desk always has a smile in her voice. A welcoming office is a big plus to me and this office is one that does it so genuinely. That was about 7 years ago and I've been coming here every ear since. They can evaluate your eyes better than an optometrist in my opinion. This clinic is somewhat geared towards children but I don't think they will turn away adults. One caution would be that they typically use your medical insurance instead of your eye care insurance. So, you may want to check on that if having everything covered under insurance is a high priority. I know when I'm here my eyes are in good hands. Enjoy!

This year, however, my 3rd annual appointment with Dr. Swan was changed to Dr. Sajiidi with no consultation with me and without my being informed. When I questioned it, I was told that Dr. Swan had no appointments until 2021. I do not appreciate being moved from a board certified MD to an DO--an optometrist and not even an opthalmologist--without my consent. Then when I did go to keep the appointment with Dr. Sajiidi and after signing in, I was kept waiting outside in a hot car for close to an hour and when I finally inquired was told that Dr. Sajiidi was not even there that day before being told once again that Dr Swan could not see me until 2021, This is absolutely inacceptable and inexcusable behavior for a professional medical service. I certainly cannot recommend anyone to this clinic.

I was referred over to this office by my optometrist. When they called me to schedule an appointment, I asked them to hold while I opened up my Microsoft Outlook calendar to make sure I would be in town. As I confirmed the date I made an entry into my calendar. As with any appt I received a call to remind me of the appointment. Working out of town I sent the call to VM knowing it was a reminder of the upcoming appt. A few days later while clearing out my VM's I came across the reminder message for Dr. Swan and was shocked when the receptionist leaving the VM had a different date than me for my appt. I quickly called to let the office know my appt was not until the following Monday. The office manager informed me I clearly made a mistake and my appt was in fact that day and if I wanted to reschedule I could, but, I'd have to pay a $50 fee, followed up with a boldly comment of, "will you be putting this charge on a credit card?" Completely shocked I told her I did not owe their office any fees as I wasn't yet a patient nor did I sign any forms acknowledging their office policies. I followed up by saying, " if you won't allow me to keep my date then I guess I'll be forced to find another doctor." Detecting strong attitude, I decided to hang up. Within a minutes another lady called me back asking if I would like to reschedule, I responded with absolutely, but I'm not paying a fee for the date discrepancy because I strongly feel the scheduling agent was at fault. I could hear the original lady I had previously spoken with whispering in the background telling this lady what to say. This was beyond tacky, really unprofessional, especially for a medical provider of this caliber. Today my wife informed me I received a bill in the mail for 50$? I'm blown away by the tenacity and arrogance. I've decided that if this is turned over to a collection agency, I'm not dealing with this office staff, I will hand this over to my attorney, at this point these actions push the envelope on both extortion and harassment. Tomorrow I will call my optometrist to inform them of what Dr. Swans office staff is capable of. I could be wrong but I can't help to believe that If Dr. Swan knew his staff acted in this manner he would approve. Mark C.
