I regularly get massages in Berlin and generally there is quite a good quality at the price range…read morethis place is in but I found the place quite strange and not so pleasant in comparison. They offer something they call 'Temomi-Style-Massage' - temomi means 'hand massage' in Japanese and is not any official recognised form of massage. They also claimed to incorporate 'seitai' but I've had this before and did not recognise anything of this in the treatment I was given at Akane's Bio Body Care. I asked the worker what kind of training they had and it seemed from their explanation like really no official training at all, just some rudimentary instruction from the boss in this 'hand massage' style. Ok it was relaxing I guess but I didn't feel confident in their abilities & certainly wouldn't recommend it if you have any kind of problem or are in genuine need of pain relief. What is billed as a 60 minute massage was actually a bit less as they seemed to have booked the next customer allowing no time in between sessions. At the end of the session they kept asking "ok..ok..ok?" in what I felt was an obvious attempt to hurry me up in time for the next customer to be moved in. There are no showers but I was cleaned with a hand towel at the end to remove the oil. As soon as my session finished I was hurried into the waiting room/reception where I was offered tea, then the selling routine began "We have this special voucher, you can buy 10 for reduced price...." etc etc etc. Not really what I wanted at that time. There was an older guy hanging round the place who seemed like the owner or manager, I have to say I didn't like his vibe much. The workers all seemed like very nice people though. Anyway I would not go there again or recommend it.
