Super cool hike and at the end of trail a tea house! What could be better... maybe flushing toilet but that would be asking a lot! It was a great short hike with amazing views all the way. Value 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Service 4/5 Quality 5/5 19/20

This review is for Lake Agnes not the tea house. Lake Agnes is a small mountain lake located 3.5 km or 2.2 miles away from Lake Louise. Elevation gain from Lake Louise to Lake Agnes is approximately 310 meters or 1,000 feet. The trail leading to the lake is pretty congested during the summer season, with many visitors making the hike up to see this lake in the middle of the mountain. The hike is quite strenuous and steep at some points, but well worth it to see this breathtaking view. If you have the time, take this hike up to Lake Agnes and you won't be disappointed.

Is about 2 hours hike from Lake Louise. Is very beautiful up here.

Don't miss this wonderful spot. Beautiful lake. Takes about 2 hours to hike from Lake Louise. From Lake Agnes, you may hike all the way up to the Big Beehives to see everything on top.

Hiking to Bow Glacier Falls is a straightforward and worthwhile way to spend half the day exploring…read morein the Canadian Rockies. I wouldn't put it at the top of my To-Do List, but if you have plenty of time, then experiencing Bow Glacier Falls can be rewarding. First off, Bow Glacier Falls is located around the bend of Bow Lake right off Icefields Parkway. Simply park in the lot and walk towards the Bow Lake Lodge and the trailhead is situated behind the lodge. Interesting note...you can view Bow Falls from a distance right when you're starting off on the trail. Also, when the sun is shining brightly while walking, Bow Lake can reflect colorful images which enhances the hiking journey. Btw...the hike to arrive at the waterfall is 4.6 kilometers or 2.85 miles. I'd classify it as a moderate pathway, but appropriate for all families. Also nice about the trail is that it's barely elevated. You walk around the lake for the first 1/3rd portion and then you do a little climbing in the back half section. Bow Glacier Falls is 150 meters or 500 foot tall waterfall and has some cascading action happening where the water splashes over itself and lends towards a photogenic appearance. While heading towards the falls, you'll be trudging on top of rocks. It's a little bumpy so to speak. Pretty much though, it's choose your own adventure in arriving there. You have plenty of personal space for deciding how best to capture the sights of Bow Glacier Falls. I veered off to the right as after the initial drop, the cliff faced wall sort of obstructs views from the left hand side. But, lol, that's just me being particular about my picture taking. I noticed some hikers not even getting on top of the falls and instead just sitting down and appreciating the scenery from far away. Overall, Bow Glacier Falls is really efficient in getting to participate in quality hiking while enjoying lakeside and waterfall panoramas. I left here feeling a sense of accomplishment.

Love how they even cleared out an ice rink and ice bar right on the lake and they were multiple people skating on the rink! I was a bit scared to venture out onto the frozen lake since I've heard horror stories of frozen surfaces breaking and people plunging in...but seeing as they literally had a rink paved out, I felt better safety-wise. There definitely are some small pockets of melted water where the ice is thinner along those edges, so I would just be aware of your surroundings.  Overall, such a beautiful lake and definitely worth visiting! I'll have to come back in the summer to check out its beauty out in a different season. We also didn't get the chance to hike, but I'm sure the trails are stunning as well!

Although we didn't get to see the clear blue waters of the lake, this was an entirely new view that was just as memorable! Note: You need a Banff Park Pass to enter! You can buy it online or at the booths when you get to the entrance of the park. - PARKING - We parked in the lot right next to the lake as directed by the parking attendants there. There's a lodge with bathrooms in the same parking lot too! You simply walk into the tree area, about 3 minutes, and you'll see the sign of Lake Louise and the lake beyond it! - EXPERIENCE - There are signs of thin ice, but there were so many people walking, running, and even sliding on the lake! We had shoe grips on just in case, which I think were nice to have as we walked - felt very sturdy! I did see other people without grips and they just had to walk a bit slower. They also had an ice rink and snow bar outside! - OVERALL - A beautiful sight to see, even in the wintertime!
