When I rented a CFR 250 dirt bike and trailer for 4 days online, I was given a total price and…read moreasked for a deposit. When I get the invoice via email, there is an additional fee for the trailer added even though I selected a trailer when I booked. Deposit was never credited to the total. I discovered this on my CC statement a month later. Called and they stated they would refund the deposit. The bigger issue was with the bike. It wouldn't shift into 3rd gear without reaching down and yanking up on the shifter with my hand. When I dropped it off, I explained the issue and asked for a credit. They said no one complained about it before but would look into it. Never heard back. I have been riding since I was 4. I'm in my 50's now. I know how to shift, I know when a lever is bent, boot caught, etc. The only issue was 3rd gear. 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th shifted fine. At the time of pick-up, it was loaded on the trailer so I didn't test it first. However, riding it through the parking lot I most likely wouldn't have hit 3rd gear anyway. Riding some of the hills in Cascade, it's not very convenient to shift with my hand. And quite unsafe for an inexperienced rider. I'd still like for the Cascade location to make it right. For me and future renters of this dirt bike.

I joined Cascade Idaho group and got accepted. I posted about his bag and someone named Sharon picked it up. Michael Powell, retired law enforcement, and family business owner of the Valley Bait and Tackle Shop reached out to me to make a plan to get it back to us. Sharon dropped it off Thursday and Michael drove it down to us Friday morning to Horshoe Bend. He wanted to make sure it was in the right hands. He even gave my father in law a shirt from the shop. This bag was very special to the family as he had items from his father and items from when his son was a child. Michael deserves business at his shop. Everyone who helped was very friendly and knowledgeable giving us the information needed to make the right decision. Prices were very reasonable too. What sets them apart is their after sales support. Months after our original purchases, we came back today needing some help on how to secure the kayak to the roof of our car. Jake was especially helpful showing me how to properly tie it down. Kudos to the entire Idaho River Sports team!

The guides are funny, knowledgeable and make the trip great. (Bennett was our guide this last trip). I took the 1/2 day South Fork of the Payette River both times. We came from Boise, rafted the 1:30 trip and were back in Boise for dinner. But, you don't have to rush home because there are some good restaurants along the way. I will be back next year.

They have really clean bathrooms, nice covered sitting areas with tables and chairs and some with picnic tables, a changing room, a nice little giift area and cafe. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming to us. We were able to get a breakfast burrito (which was delicious) and just take in the beauty of the river. Once the traffic got moving, we loaded onto our bus with Owen, our driver, and Anna our guide. These two really made us feel welcome and we just knew we were going to have a great day. It was just my husband and I and another couple, Chuck and Marcia who were super friendly and it was great getting to know them throughout our day. Anna was simply a firecracker, so full of energy and positivity and funny too, that we were having a great day, just on the drive up to Cabarton Road. After our safety drill we were off. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous and we had time to take it all in and just float on down the Payette in between the "rapid" times. When we came to the rapids, they were GREAT Category 2 and 3s and we had so much fun. Anna then pulled out for lunch and put out this great spread of food, carrots with humus (that was oh soooo god I wish they sold it), crackers with cream cheese and salsa, pasta salad, apples and oranges slices, sandwich fixins and then cookies for desert. They even had a gluten-free brownie and glute-free bread fir ne which were both terrific. Anna's guide skills are wonderful and on top of that having to entertain us, abd fix us lunch, really demonstrates what a terrific work ethic she has and she does so with passion and a great attitude. It was a full day and we were exhausted at the end, but we had such a great time and can't thank Anna and Owen enough for making sure we had a great time and came home with such wonderful memories of this day. We are already looking forward to next season and coming back to do this same run again. After going through one other place when we did our first rafting excursion, we will definitely be coming back to THIS one from now on, and I highly recommend this company.

Tyler kept everyone organized and brought the Patty's! How in the hell Timmy kept up with this group at almost 80 is beyond comprehension. We enjoyed perfect weather mid June for a 6 day trip, our crew had 3 kids who absolutely thrived on all of the water activities. They can't wait to get back on the river with this group of guides.
