Lake City winds along highway 61 in Southeastern Minnesota. A very scenic city with slow moving traffic. Most of the retail stretches along the roadway with a small downtown comprised of mostly small businesses taking us up to the marina where there are scores of boats stored. Yes, this is mostly a summer city with more business open and more people strolling the walkway or boating the lake. Although some buildings could use a face there are none ready for the wrecking ball. read more
