I wish I could go beyond 5 stars - Deb Melvin has been incredible - not only is she fun to work…read morewith, she is insanely good at what she does. As a single mom, I can't say the stress relief that she brings to the table, knowing your financial future is in good hands. Look no further! And as if Deb isn't enough, Brad Carroll immediately builds the rapport and trust that's so often lacking in financial planning. His sincerity and feedback just ensures that you're in the right place, working with the right people. In my opinion, IAG Wealth Partners has no competition :)

There's been a recent commercial about people looking for financial advisors. The clients are…read moreseated with their credit scores or savings amounts (?) as necklaces. An advisor comes to the waiting room and looks around a bit for the next person to help and chooses the person with the highest numbers on their necklaces. This commercial reminded me of my experience at IAG. Of all the clients my advisor helped, I believe that I was "low man", the one with the least amount of money invested and probably the least amount of potential earnings for the future. While visits with my advisor were friendly and informative, I never developed a feeling of ease nor compassionate understanding on the part of my advisor regarding my situation. I don't know that I felt "heard". After a while of experiencing this, I needed some fresh air. I guess even the surroundings of finery and bling, in my opinion, were not very welcoming. Random pronouncements of Christian mission seemed incongruous with the advisor's attitude toward me.

I do like Educators Credit Union mostly because it's not one of those big awful three mega-banks…read morethat tanked our economy in 2008 and since then have been robbing the American public in the form of excessive fees and loan interest without mercy. This location has a great staff of friendly, efficient and able tellers. They have extremely limited contact during the pandemic which tells me they care about health and safety.

Educators Credit Union is a financial cooperative. We've been with ECU for about 9 years now. We moved from US Bank after getting nickel and dime on a monthly basis and extremely poor customer service. We read about ECU, came in to talk to them and walked out with our accounts set up. Friendly, outgoing and accommodating customer service each and every time we go there for whatever reason. We have multiple savings, checking and home improvement loan here and now most recently a short approval process to get a pre-approved auto loan in a few hours. We were then able to better shop for a car. I was also there to help my oldest build credit, working with a rep and asked if it was possible to have him order me new checks and he went in and did that within 30 seconds instead of pushing it off to someone else. What we like best is one of their programs. Debit and credit card holders can earn reward points. Every dollar we charge on our debit/credit card: Debit card "credit" transactions = 1 point for every $2 spent Credit card "credit" transactions = 1 point for every $1 spent Redeem points for discounts and promotions on Educators products and services, cash back, gift cards, air travel, and more. We use our points for hotel stays and take side trips with the kids. I can't stress enough how exceptional the customer service is. After all, banking is a service business, and ECU does a great job to earn your business. ECU started out operating under the guiding principle of "Not for Profit, Not for Charity, But for Service." They consistently deliver on that principle.
