We happened to walk down the street and found ourselves intoxicated with this beautiful garden. The aromatic flowers and lovely bridge! What an unexpected treat to our eyes and senses!

Hurricane helene destroyed the flowering bridge. So sad.

Was so nice. Now it's completely gone due to Hurricane Helene. I'm glad I saw it when I did. Hopefully It can eventually reopen.

The Lake Lure Flowering Bridge is a gem. Admission is free but donations are always welcome and best of all you can visit anytime of day. The Flowering Bridge was once the Broad River Bridge that was built in 1925. When a new bridge was built to replace the bridge a group of advocates and volunteers worked to keep the historic bridge. It has since been transformed in a lovely pedestrian bridge that has many types of flowers and plants. The gardens are divided into different themes. There are also ferry gardens to look for that are so creative. Make sure to give yourself enough time to visit the bridge to take in all the beauty and enjoy the views. They have cell phone tours; added braille so all can enjoy and most of it is wheelchair friendly.

We visited during the winter, and we had a fantastic time. We learned so much about different types of plants. And we saw the beautiful winter jasmine and cotoneaster. There are so many beautiful works of art here, too. Even in snow or ice, it would be a lovely place to walk and think.

Beautiful spot in town that should be on your to-do list! It is an old bridge that has been converted into a garden! There are smaller gardens within that have themes ( Mr McGregors Garden and a rainbow bridge garden)as well as many others. Kid and dog friendly! There is parking at either end of the bridge. It's a short walk, but take the time to smell the roses. You'll be glad you did!

Absolutely beautiful! The detail and flower choices are amazing!! The only thing missing for me was nice breeze and that isn't anything that they can help. Can't wait for our trip up to Lake Lure to stop by and enjoy the bridge once again!

Absolutely stunning! I can't recommend this gorgeous attraction enough. This Foot bridge is blooming with joy, touching your heart with the rainbow bridge, and encouraging your curiosity of new plants. You can view everything from Succulents and lilies, to fairy houses and repurposed wheelbarrows! This attraction is free, but accepts donations, which I gladly gave. If you're in the area stop by and visit this lovely bridge. There's parking on each side of the bridge and even a guest book to sign your name!

Hands down my favorite place around! Stunning flowers and educational resources everywhere. It makes my heart so happy to spend some time on the flower bridge!

This is a must stop if in the area! Magical with blooms, fairy houses, painted rocks and a beautiful rainbow bridge. We spent hours here. Meeting people and hearing their stories made it even more memorable and special.

The day we went is at the fall. It was not much flower to spot. You still can imagine this bridge in the spring time should be the numbness sot to visit. I like they built the pedestrian bridge with flower decorated on the bridge. Event they do not carry more flower during autumn, it has many good corner with special set garden. Each one have a theme. Such as pumpkin angry bird, fire place, flamingo, circle stone. The decoration is matching the Halloween season. The bridge with decoration did not fade away from it color. Many visitors since it is free. Parking also easy.

What a unique and special place, especially if you like flowers, plants, and creative gardens. I HIGHLY recommend visiting this free attraction if you're in the area (donations are appreciated). Even the guys enjoyed it. We met several of the volunteers who tend to the garden and they all loved their work. I took lots of pictures so I could try to replicate what they've done back home. There were lots of butterflies flitting around and we managed to capture a few great shots of them. You could "do" the bridge in 10-15 minutes if you rush but I'd recommend taking your time and really absorbing and admiring all the creative nooks and crannies.

Beautiful views and a special experience for sure. Little alcoves of different themes makes the place and I love visiting it

Such a beautiful stop! My mom and I decided to stop on a whim after having lunch on Lake Lure and we were so glad we did! The gardens along the bridge are beautiful and so well laid out Definitely make the stop, it's beautiful and when the sprinklers are on they can help with the summer heat!

We chose Grand Scapes because we were looking for more than just someone to plant shrubs--we needed someone to offer us a vision for our property and do it as a turn-key project, which is exactly what Richard, Doug, and Pepé did. Besides doing a fantastic job of landscaping, they were so quiet we didn't know they were on the place, and they cleaned up perfectly after themselves all the way. We would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, honest, skilled landscape design and installation. These guys had all the equipment, skillls, and resources needed to do a great job, and we didn't have to lift a finger. We even felt great leaving the project in their hands while we took a week's vacation out of state. Oh, and the pool they installed for us was at a fraction of the price for most in-ground pools and looks absolutely wonderful!

We signed the agreement in August 2024 and were scheduled for work in October 2024. After postponing the work several times from original date, they did the work in January 2025 when it was freezing cold and snowing. They installed boulders on the edges and replaced rip-rap on about 250 linear feet of drainage ditch. With the first heavy rainfall in February 2025, we discovered huge hollows and holes under the boulders where the rainwater washed under and to the outside of the ditch, then returned back into the ditch, covering the rip-rap with mud; then down to our neighbors yard. These latent defects were not visible when his team finished. After much consideration, in March we called for him to take a look. His answer was "We don't warranty our work! If we do any more work, you must pay for it." We are in our 70's and are making corrections to his $17K repairs of the ditch. With each heavy rain we discover more locations where water flows under the boulders and washes mud out along the outside of the ditch. The work was generally good aesthetically, but would have been much better had these holes not been underneath. Ultimately, the attitude we received from him was the worst part.

We had several issues that needed expert advice and on a budget. They did a great job and saved us on the front end for sure. They were very honest in the process of deciding what the best course of action was. We had severe erosion and drainage problems. The end result was great. The landscaping turned out better than expected. They went above and beyond. Even built us a small fire pit with left over rocks just because we worked well together. We are thankful for the great work and will certainly use them on future projects.
