Lots of foot traffic and people visiting my table. It is a very well maintained public park, and they have paved walking paths. There is also a hard standing building in the park that has both a male and female restrooms. Bathroom where maintained and clean. This park also has plenty of trees which allows you to excercise under the shade of the trees. Lots of vendors selling a large variety of items and food. Check the website for the entertainment line up. Security and the ambulance where in site for our safety, very much appreciated. This will be a yearly event for me to attend.

They did warn me it was small- and it is, but also just magically lovely. I walked the small loop and took photos, breathed in fresh air, grateful for a brief break from the rain, although I would have still enjoyed this park int he rain. The locals love it, if you are visiting- take a few minutes to reflect and enjoy!

Found this place by complete accident and so thrilled I did. I am an Empath so I need a place I can…read morego that is out in nature, quiet and away from everything. This is a small piece of the river most people don't know about or just don't visit and I love that because it isn't over crowded. I almost cried when I noticed them adding a parking lot. There are beautiful tables by the river so you can sit and have a meal. There are big rocks you can sit on by the edge of the river. It is truly peaceful here. Writing this review makes me want to go there right now. But there are little nooks and crannies you can get to to be right near the water. Have I mentioned the bridge? Breathtakingly beautiful! I've walked it from end to end. There are big beautiful trees that hang over the bridge, beautiful flowers in the spring, blackberries and honey suckle grow wild and free. I've gone at all different times of the day but sunset is my favorite. I love going here when there is a full moon! The view is incredible. This is my place of peace. Others who come here, they come for the peace and quiet too. They aren't noisy or playing loud music. The river is the only sound I need

There is a nice playground as well as spash area to run around in. There are stairs as well as ramps everywhere to accommodate everyone. There is a ampatherater that they use very often within the community. It's dog-friendly, and there are even swing chairs for the adults that might still have some kid in us. There are nice bathromms and parking is easy. There are always cop cars there dont worry. They do sometimes close the park for events like forth of July, so be aware that it's a park that can be closed. Its down town, but it does not feel that way its feels like you're lost in the great nature.

Left was where we went for pictures amongst the tall trees on walking trails. There are winding trails that go down/up elevations through wilderness areas. There are public restrooms very clean all things considered, few small ponds, a book rental box, and of course the playground. The play area looks fairly new encompassing a large area with the rubber ground. Reading and seeing older pics here on Yelp there was gravel before in playground so this is massive upgrade. There is an outdoor covered bench spot right beside playground good for children parties. Finally there is the water shooting fountain pipes?? I don't know what these are called but they shoot water randomly that children jump through. It is great place to bring children and offers many picture locations.

The trail is wide, mostly flat that meanders around a pond with several access points in and out from apartments, a senior living facility, and businesses nearby. There are picnic tables and benches scattered throughout the trail. Lots of shady areas to watch ducks and geese. There are signs everywhere to not feed the waterfowl. I did see a father and young son fishing from the banks tho. There's also a small playground on the far side away from the street. We enjoyed our late afternoon walk to stretch our legs after a long drive. This is a very nice, well maintained walking trail and park.
