If it were possible to give a rating higher than 5 stars I would give it. Called for an appointment and Greg came the next day, right on time. He removed the stovepipe, something that my previous cleaners had not, took it outside and gave it a good cleaning, and then went to work giving the whole chimney, including the cap, the best cleaning ever. Work was not done quickly, which I appreciate, because he took the time to be thorough and efficient. Don't want anyone cutting any corners when performing this kind of service. When he was done he cleaned up the whole hearth area. Cost was extremely competitive, much lower than previous cleaners had charged. First Rate!! read more

Outstanding quality and professional Chimney Sweep Service. Safety comes first with Lake Region Chimney Service as Greg Joy (provider) is a Firefighter/EMT by night and Chimney Service by day. Greg knows what a chimney fire can do to a home. He thoroughly inspected the chimney flue, oil burner, woodstove and pipes. Replaced a bolt in the cleanout area due to a possible safety issue if there was a chimney fire causing a backdraft. Price was minimal compared to quality of service we received, let alone the piece of mind knowing that our chimney/woodstove are ready for winter. read more

Greg has been cleaning our chimney yearly for nearly 10 years now. He is on time, ever time. He is professional and he is thorough, safety is priority. His cost is minimal for the extensive job that he does and his rates have never gone up! One year he noticed a hole in our roof near the chimney area, asked if I had any extra shingles and went up and patched it for us! He wouldn't take any additional money for that repair!
