I went to two other grocery stores while in this area and both have better prices. Safeway really needs to get on board with lower prices. This store has a large produce section, deli with prepare foods, lots of freezer items, big dairy area and most everything in between. There does seem to be quite a selection available. Staff that we encountered were pleasant. They don't have many cashier assisted check-out lanes available, so we did wait a bit to check out. Bring your own bags or buy some. Prices on 'sale' items were better if you signed up for their reward program, which we did as we were in the area for a while and will be back in future. No sense missing the 'sale' because we don't have the right card. Large parking lot with handicapped spots out front and easily accessible entrance. Carriages/carts/buggies and hand baskets are by the entrance. Store was mostly clean and the aisles clear of displays and other obstacles. Will we be back. Probably. Will I shop at other grocery stores first to get better prices. Definitely.

You are both the customer and the product being sold. The self checkout machines have worked as intended. ID checks greatly depend on who's working that day, usually it's quick and easy. The biggest thing I've noticed about Safeway in general: watch those prices! Of the things I buy regularly some of them went from Safeway being the cheapest to now being double (literally!!) the price than other grocery stores!
