Great time. My son and I both jumped for our first time. Our instructor was very safe and…read moreknowledgable. The equipment is well maintained. The video and safety disclaimer is a real buzz kill but that is nothing against the business...just expect to sign every legal right you think you might have away. We were brought up to about 11k feet. I was expecting 14k. They only had one instructor / jumper so that was disappointing as we had jump separate which made it a much longer day. We will be back. It was a great experience. Exceptional views.

So, this was pretty cool. For my 18th birthday, my parents took me skydiving. It was really a lot…read moreof fun. They woke me up, rushed me out of the house, then drove to Superior to get into a plane and jump out! Skydiving was always something that I wanted to do, and the fact that I got to do it at a (pretty) young age is really cool. The guys that run this whole operation are great! Some of the best, funnest, older guys around. But when they mean business, and need to be serious.. they totally are! When you get there, after you sign all your papers and what not. You then watch a brief (about 20 minute) safety video. The first two times you skydive, it is required that you go tandem (with a pro on your back!). After your video, you then go practice what you are going to do in the air. The tell you not to throw the rip cord when you pull it for your parachute to go off...and of course what do I do? Throw it! How convenient. It costs an extra $25 or so, if you do that. Next, it's time to get into the plane. The guys are really adamant about making sure this is something you really want to do, which is good, because once the plane takes off, the only way you are getting back to the ground, is by jumping! But seriously, it was F-ing amazing! I jumped at about 1100 feet, and you could see ALL of EVERYTHING. I was more taken aback by how much you can see.. all of Lake Superior, Duluth, Superior.. and then some! It was great! I would recommend this to anyone! I cannot wait to go again. I think the next time I do it, I want to do it down in the cities someplace. i was lucky too, for like $85.00 more or so, you can pay some guy to jump with you and video tape the whole experience. It's cool, because now when I tell someone about this, I actually have proof of my jump! Plus it is something you can watch over and over again! Go Skydiving.. It is AMAZING!

I got to play Seymour in this show years ago and they put my production to shame! Not a detail was missed. It was beautifully done with superb singers, actors, and dancers. The theatre was beautiful too and everyone was nice to us. It was easy to park too in an adjoining parking garage.

We attended "The Shark is Broken" and while the play was good, we were disappointed in the theatre…read moreitself. We drove 3 hours and were there early since it was general admission. The usher told us to line up in a certain spot, so we immediately did. 45 minutes later we found out that we were now at the end of the line. He took people from the back. Very disappointed.

There was no time pressure on us and Cheryl and Amy provided us with great information about the area and taught us to read the currents in the river. Great time and we are already planning our next outing!

As a fisherman let me say this first, they call it fishing for a reason. If you always caught fish,…read morethey would call it catching. I have fished with some of the best fisherman in the world and they don't even catch em all the time. That being said, being a charter boat captain is not only about taking your clients fishing, there is a certain experience or service that people expect when they book a trip. Our trip with Captain Paul certainly met and exceeded my expectations. I had booked an appointment for my 11 year old nephew and I. My nephew really enjoys fishing and I thought this would be a fun experience. I have previously been on a few charters including one not so great trip that my brother likes to keep reminding me about. For the record I got seasick, it wasn't pretty. Anyhow we arrived at our scheduled time and were greeted by the captains of one of their boats. We were directed to Captain Paul's boat who was getting ready for our trip. It was an absolutely beautiful day. As we headed out it wasn't long before we started to set up our lines. I say we because Captain Paul had my nephew help him which was fun for him. We booked a half day drip with is about a 6 hour day. While the first few hours went by quickly with our conversations with Captain Paul, we didn't have any bites. We tried some different depths and different lures. It wasn't until we "fooled" the fish into thinking that we were not ready that the first trout hit a line. I woke up my nephew from his slumber and he reeled in his first trout. It wasn't too long after that we had another bite but lost that one. Before the end of the day we hooked into another trout that my nephew landed. We had fun on our ride back in and were pretty pleased with a couple of nice sized trout. Captain Paul cleaned our fish for us and as a nice bonus gave my nephew a t-shirt. As we drove home we had fun with movie lines from one of our favorite movies. "What's for dinner? Trout. What's fun lunch? Trout. What's for breakfast? Trout!" For those unsure of the movie, that would be the original Parent Trap. Great movie, better time with Captain Paul and Optimum Charters. Initially I thought this might be a one time experience for my nephew however we had so much fun I'm considering making this an annual trip!

Great experience with a 2 hour cross country ski tour/lesson with Jake. He arrived early and was…read moreprepared. He was attentive to my novice skills but also able to balance tips for the more experienced people of the group. We cross country skied Lester Park. Was so fun to try out this new ski area(new to us). The trail was tough for a beginner(only 3 ski sessions under my belt) but with Jake's guidance and reassurance, I was happy we did this trail. Out of our comfort zone but so fun and scenic! I would definitely use this company again for other outdoor activities.

Jordan had excellent communication before our date and was attentive to the weather-keeping us updated as our departure time got closer. It was easy to find him at the Marina.
