I wouldn't bother with this place at all, bowled 6 games here and received a parking ticket for the…read morepleasure, i entered my reg into their system as instructed, recieved a fine and had to appeal (as intructed by the centre) the appeal was rejected and i wasn't notified so the fine now goes to debt recovery i ask the staff at the centre to help with the situation and they state they have no evidence of me bowling there (even though my bank statement does) they weren't willing to check cameras to offer proof to the parking company or even just give them a call on my behalf to strengthen my appeal i'm now £148 down to park at a run down bowling alley with unfriendly dismissive staff who wouldn't lift a finger to help a patron who was unfairly treated so unless you want a nice dent in your wallet and an overall bad experience i'd steer clear of this place and go somewhere that the parking system works and the staff are actually useful if i could give it no stars i would

Okay it's not sleek or modern, but it's brilliant to have such a large collection of bowling lanes that aren't cramped together in a small building. Does everything really have to be modern and updated anyway? Surely there's still a love for old type buildings like these? I hate it when you go bowling, and you can't find the right weight ball that suitable for you. And then when you do find the right one, your fingers get stuck in the holes because they're too small. You never have this problem at Acocks Green, because there's always masses of balls to choose from on the shelves as well as at the lanes. The cafe inside is great to grab a bite to eat. Again, it's no modern cuisine, but the food is good, tasty and traditional, from the usual chips and chicken pieces and burgers. Most food items very rarely reach £5, so you can eat cheaply and then carry on with your game!

The first…read moretime we vcisited the bowling lane broke down in excess of five times - it kind of got to be a joke when we kept having to go to the staff and tell them that thelane had 'frozen'. We were moved to over four different lanes, given free drinks to make up for the inconvenience and eventually given a voucher for 2 free games - thats how bad it was... the second time was better as we only had problems with the lane once. Sundays are a bad day to go unless you are a family - lots of families with young kids make it somewhat noisy. There is a games area with arcade machines, an air hockey table and pool tables (which were in pretty bad nick) and a bar selling drinks and snacks.
