My sweet grandma that I miss so very much is buried here…read more It's nice since the cemetery looks peaceful and all the head stones are laid on the ground rather than being tall statues. Also, there's a rule here where you cannot place excess amount of flowers, cards, bears, and such to remember your loved ones which it keeps the graveyard looking nice and clean. However, the headstones aren't cheap. They cost about 3K and you can bring your fake flowers to place in the vase. There's a small pond located on the property as well as it welcomes geese to walk around too. The office building looks like a raggedy trailer, but on the inside its still a mobile home feel. The lady that assisted my mum and her sisters didn't seem too compassionate to what we were dealing with. It seemed as if she was only for the money. Anywho, when it rains the graves are prone to flooding making the grass extremely muddy. I wish they would fix that because I don't want my grandma's body and coffin to be affected by that. Also, the spacing between each grave is limited. It's very difficult to speak with my grandma and not stepping on top of another person's grave. Located just off of HWY 49.

We were driving back home from the funeral, and mentioned Medgar Evers...next thing we knew our driver made a detour and took us to see the legendary monument....Everyone in the car was not from Jackson. They were there for us in our confusing time of need, and I'm go grateful. They helped me fight tears, and their patience was so genuine.
