Unfortunately, my interaction with Dr. Carrie Lam left a very different impression. She spent less than a minute with me and seemed primarily focused on discussing the clinic's membership program. I was disappointed that she did not appear to go over the details of my visit with Lynn before speaking with me, which made the interaction feel rushed and impersonal. The same feeling carried through with the rest of the staff as well. Aside from Lynn, the overall tone felt cold, and there was a strong emphasis on memberships, supplements, and additional spending. I completely understand that clinics need revenue streams, but the pressure to spend money seemed to take priority over making me feel cared for as a patient. I left very appreciative of Lynn's care and professionalism, but wishing the rest of the experience had felt more patient-centered and less transactional. Unfortunately, I thought they really cared about their patients. I came in in the month of April to get liver scan. I was told that it wouldn't be performed until I paid my past balance from August and October. When I asked for the reason, the receptionist told me it was for the IV treatment. That was a year ago, they had sold me into believing that I would only pay a deductible and my insurance would pay the rest. They were very pushy into getting additional service while getting the IV treatment. Although I denied any additional add-ons to the IV bag, I was still hit with a bill a year later. They claimed that my insurance will take care of it, I paid the deductible and the $25 additional charge for the mixture. Now a year later they tell me I have to pay this, Bill. If they would've given me the option to get IV treatment out-of-pocket I would've declined. I enjoyed coming here, however, this is not ethical and would not recommend this business to anyone anymore. read more
