I Googled which of Tuscaloosa city auto glass repair shops had the best customer reviews. Based on the small sample of 5 stars, I chose Glass Doctor of Tuscaloosa. My car (Nissan) has a small windshield rock chip that is a little smaller than a dime. The manager of this shop told me that it was an easy fix and it was good idea I wanted it repaired before it spreads and becomes a bigger problem. I agreed with this. It was all about 15 minutes when the manager came and told me the work was done. He charged me when my car was still in the garage bay being "worked on." Charged me $80.00. When it was pulled out, I went to see was done to it. NOTHING. It was the exact same way I brought it in. Same way. The bobble head manager insisted they did all they could to repair it. They have their customers sign a waiver disclaimer of no guaranty, while your car is being "worked on." I would assign a no star review if I could. I'm writing this review, warning everyone to choose another shop.

Think: coffee tables, end tables, side tables, Momma even had Huntsville Glass cut her custom glass shelving in her living room. I'm sure Mom used Huntsville Glass to custom cut mirrors for her, as she loved to display, for example her Beatrice Potter figures and her Easter tree atop a mirror. Growing up on a tight budget as we were 6 children raised by a single Mom, I'm sure Huntsville Glass' pricing was reasonable, or we would not have been able to afford it! As I moved out and got my own homes, I continued the cut glass tradition and used Huntsville Glass to make glass covers for all my furnishings, too! WORST Experience EVER!!! I had Lee come out to originally install my shower door. It needed some…read morealignment and he never called me back. A year later I had to replace the shower pan for it was leaking. The Tile guy was great. He and Lee were friends and he arranged to have Lee come out to remove the glass. Lee no showed me so Jason did it. Then when it was time to basically rehang the door Lee came out only to tell me that it was going to cost me $600. Then he goes on to tell me the shower door is not going to fit (said they never do). So in good faith I paid him the $600 with the understanding that he was going to have a new side panel cut. That was May 2nd, 2022. I finally got him to answer my call by calling on a number he did not recognize only for him to tell me the door was on back order. I then asked if we could recut the door I had and he said not but he would let me know the status the following week. I have heard NOTHING CRICKETS!!! Lee shows up for the money but his customer service does not exist. I still have no shower door!!! I reached out to the tile guy and he was embarrassed that Lee had not called me. I know the supply chain is slow but returning a call or a text is all I have been asking for. Again CRICKETS!!! He is blowing and going on new installs but will leave you high and dry if there is a problem... So now I have to make a decision do I take him to small claims court and get my money back for services that were NOT rendered or what... Needless to say very disappointed and frustrated that I have to spend more time on a shower door... Warning - DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY MONEY UNTIL THE JOB IS COMPLETE!!!
