So cool! Even on the bye week there was tons of things to do and see. To be driving through a residential area down a residential street and then come up to this huge stadium is a very surreal experience. Everything is within walking distance of the stadium. There is a cool jersey/gift shop across the street next to Brett Farve's Steakhouse. The tour is so worth it! Spend the extra money on the Champions tour. They let you go out on a deck below the south end scoreboard, visit one of the luxury skyboxes and walk through the south end tunnel on to the field (don't touch the grass!!). An awesome and clean facility. The staff was nice, it was easy to get around and the bathrooms were clean. Of course, watching the Packers may have tainted my view. Although I have yet to see a football game...I LOVE THIS STADIUM! I love going into the gift shop and seeing all the awesome decor and planning my future Green Bay home. Brian M. must be one dumb bunny. The PRO-SHOP is front and center and 2 stories tall with glass windows/walls! Not sure about 'bratchos' but the seats fit average folks, the way most stadiums do. I never had a problem, 5'9", hubby 6'3". Neither of us are Twiggy either. Lambeau Field reminds me of the Wizard of Oz and Emerald City. It truly is that beautiful compared to ANY other stadium! Oh how I love it here! It's truly an amazing place to see games. I've witnessed an overtime playoff win in January, a win the day after Christmas and a few fan Fest scrimmages. Every game is exciting and every seat is great. Nothing beats sitting on the bleachers at Lambeau. The atrium is awesome, the food selection pure Wisconsin and the fans are the best in football. If only I had season tickets..... Go Pack Go! Also - don't be afraid to pay $20 to park on someone's lawn! It's part of the experience and I haven't had any problems : ) read more

Love coming here for games! My grandparents live on the south side of the stadium so we always tailgate beforehand and then head to the game

Metal benches are terrible. They are cold, small and uncomfortable. You have to rent Seat back rentals. They should be provided free Too many rows. Not enough room in aisles or seats If there are Too many large people in a row it means the aisle person (me) only gets one butt cheek on the bench. I am only 175 pounds. Way too many enclosed rich people boxes This stadium is open. At 34.5 degrees latitude it needs to have a roof The concourse should be covered and heated. Its open to the outside air. Due to so many reviews, my husband and I stopped here as we were passing through Green Bay. So glad we did. I never knew a football stadium could be so busy with tours. We took the classic tour, 60 minutes and enjoyed it. It was interesting to learn the history of the Green Bay Packers and see the field. We had a beer and appetizer at the 1919 restaurant at the stadium. It was happy hour with discounts on a few drinks and menu items. Highly recommend. read more

Awesome stadium! My wife and I took the Legendary Lambeau tour this last August to see the new additions and it was a phenomenal experience! Our tour guide was awesome! The tour wasn't too pricey. (if I remember right it was $39/person) but well worth it, as the tour was about two hours long and is something we'll never forget! The Legendary tour also includes tickets to the Packers hall of fame. While we were there I lost my wedding ring on the practice field and I didn't notice until we were about to leave. We went to the customer service desk and they sent someone to look for my ring! Luckily they were able to find it. Even if they hadn't, at least they legitimately tried. It just goes to show how classy the Packers organization is from top to bottom! Keep it up! read more

Great experience, even though the Pack lost the game I can at least say I've been here. The place is amazing and you would never know by the looks if it that this stadium is as old as it is. The upgrades and renovations are superb and rivals any new park in the country. However you can still feel the history an tradition in the air. Tailgating was an experience in itself and everyone was great. I will do what ever I can to make it back someday. read more

The last time I was here was last September for the Wisconsin vs. LSU college football game, I gotta say, my overall experience made me a diehard Packers fan for life, LSU fans were the nicest ever and me, as Badger fans, many of us get a bad rep, but Wisconsin fans in general are the best fans of in all sports teams, just ask LSU fan, we were sitting in the last level and still had a good view, wouldn't mind going to a Packers game now. read more

Impressive stadium! Got to go here for a pre-season game - Green Bay Packers VS. Oakland Raiders. The fiance is still trying to convert me. LOL. Construction happening around the stadium. The fiance said the area is getting revamped where there used to be a shopping plaza. The locals in the neighborhood were tailgating in their front yards, a few charged people to park in their driveways, and I think one had portable bathrooms available for a fee too. Stadium comprised mostly of Green Bay Packer fans XD Everyone I saw was extremely enthusiastic, aside from the Raiders fans. 4 stars for the good vibes and crowd in this experience, and because it's definitely better than the Sam Boyd Stadium (which is the only other I've been in). From Security to the food stand people, everyone was nice and courteous. From seeing the new U.S. Bank Stadium for the Minnesota Vikings, I also prefer this look 'cause it's more... what can you say? it's like visiting mt. olympus or shangri la. i'm a die hard Dolphins fan so i have really no allegiance to the Packers. but this place is breathtaking. the history oozes from its large frame. it's lovingly embraced by the Green Bay residents' houses that stand in rows just across the street. it's a true community treasure. the statues of Lambeau and Lombardi are like deities. if you love football you must visit Lambeau before you die. read more

What happened to Lambeau??? This is a report from the Jan 5th 2014 playoff game against the 49er's. Used to love going to games here. Here are the issues. Nothing positive. No one took the time to help direct us to Parking Lot 2. The traffic directors pointed angrily at us in vague directions. Once inside, TWO different individuals could not direct us to our seats. Ridiculous security. We're going to a stupid football game (that over the years has become more and more like professional wrestling) and not to see the president. Why does everyone have to see what is in my camera bag and binocular bag!!! It's a camera and binoculars for christ sake. And I need a "clear" bag. The concession stands only knew of their own particular beer they were selling at their own stand. They could not direct us to anything better than Bud Light. Beer selection sucked. Overpriced Beer and Mixed Drinks. No familiar sounds of Go Pack Go. Very lame chants of "First Down" from the crowd coaxed by the M.C. to let everyone know that a first down occurred. Gets old after the first 8 times this happens. And finally, it actually felt like we were at Solder Field with the type of music played and the obnoxiousness of the announcer. Came here for the Packers v. Falcons game on Dec. 8th. Holy cow this place is jaw-dropping. Humongous. Great view from virtually any seat. The bathrooms are a heated mecca for you to regain body warmth during those 13 degree snowing games. The fans were great...the Packers are really lucky to have such hardcore loyal fans :) read more

I've made four pilgrimages to Lambeau, twice prior to the renovations and twice afterwards. Lambeau has succeeded where a number of the other traditional stadiums that have been refurbished/rebuilt (read Yankee Stadium) have failed, and that's in maintaining the unpretentious essence of the original. Don't get me wrong - the new atrium and the modernization and expansion of the concourses represent a vast improvement over the corrugated green-painted aluminum in the old Lambeau (not that I was complaining). But the experience of sitting in the bowl and watching the game is exactly the same as it was before, and no other stadium can replicate it. When you sit there, nobody has to remind you about the tradition of Lambeau or the Packers. It just oozes from the place. One of the many, many fabulous features of Lambeau is the interaction between the stadium and its surroundings. Most stadiums are either isolated, sitting in the middle of vast parking lots and surrounded by interstate highways, or have been woven into artificial Disneylands of urban renewal that are perhaps more charming than the alternative but don't have much tradition. Lambeau is neither. The whole town is kind of a Packer Disneyland, but it wasn't built that way, it just evolved. The surrounding neighborhood is mostly residential, with some bars and restaurants sprinkled around. There isn't adequate parking in the stadium to satisfy demand, so unless you have a season parking pass, the better options include, among other things, parking in a homeowner's driveway or backyard (for a little more money you get access to the homeowner's bathroom). There are fans everywhere and they come out in force long before the game for tailgating (in fact, lots of people show up to tailgate even if they aren't going to the game). People are incredibly friendly and apparently can drink enormous amounts without getting obnoxious (or sloppy). I've lived in the New York area most of my life, and around here there is a sense of privilege that accompanies going to a sports event (particularly now given the ridiculous ticket and food prices). Call me naive, but even with Lambeau's upgrades and modernization, there is a sense of purity and innocence to it that you can't find much anymore in professional sports. read more

Last year the wife, kids and I flew into Milwaukee from California to attend the Monday Night Football game at Lambeau. We drove in a rental from the airport to Green Bay on Sunday and stayed the night in Green Bay, within walking distance of the stadium. Got there early the next afternoon for the game and hung out in the Atrium area and pro shop there at Lambeau Field. It was a great experience just being able to hang out inside and check it all out. The game was a great experience, the people were great and I tip my hat to the City of Green Bay, the Packers and the fans. What a great time we had. read more

What is a Bears fan doing writing a good review about Lambeau Field? I mean I can't really say anything bad about this place. Getting inside the stadium was quick. The drinks were reasonably priced. I believe it cost under $9 for a mixed drink and a beer. I am taking off one star though. Out of the whole stadium I only found one stand that served mixed drinks. I asked a few of the workers and they didn't know where on was located.. After going in circles I finally found it. It's located in the atrium. Last but not least the Packers fans didn't give me a hard time for being a Bears fan. read more

The last time I was there the fans shouted down a drunk Packers fan who was being obnoxious to a Saints fan. We had great seats, but wow to much money and not enough room. Not sure what all the hype is about this place. I much prefer a seat were I have a seat. Did like the folks next to me setting on me. The game was great, the view was good, and looked like a nice stadium. A lot of work had been done on the outside. Looks like they are trying to fix it up. I will also add. Lambeau Field is like being in football heaven. You get to see the different parts of the stadium and also get to see parts of the museum. Also it's an outstanding place to watch a football game or just taking a tour to the stadium. Also it teaches us what the Green Bay Packers is all about as a football team! Over the summer, my mother, brother, and I went on a week-long trip to Chicago, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri. While on our vacation, we took a detour and decided to drive to Green Bay, Wisconsin to visit Lambeau Field (home of the Green Bay Packers). To tour the stadium, you must first pick between 3 types of tours; there is the Classic tour, Champion's tour, and the legendary tour. While deciding to take the tour, we had to choose which type of tour we wanted to take. Since my younger brother was a HUGE Green Bay Packers fan, we opted for the Legendary tour. On this tour we got to see premium seating areas on the east side of Lambeau Field, walk the players' tunnel, walk alongside the field, Stand at the highest point of the stadium on the south end zone, tour the press box, and walk inside the visiting team locker room. Upon taking this tour, we met in the atrium and walked from place to place while listening to our tour guide. Since I am not great with names, (I don't remember the name of our tour guide) I shall name him Jeffery. Jeffery was an older gentleman who knew his stuff! He was one of the most informative tour guides that I have ever met. While taking the tour, he taught me many things that I had never learned before, such as, that the Green Bay Packers is actually the first and only team to be owned by shareholders (who happen to be residents of the city of Green Bay). I also learned that this stadium can hold over 81,000 people. An amazing fact that I learned while touring some of the premium seating was that ONE seat upstairs in one of the boxes costs over $11,700 for (I think) a three year contract. Lambeau Field has tours almost every day of the year which enable those tours to be a means of revenue for the field. Lambeau Field also has designated rooms for revenue generated events such as weddings, conferences, etc. Since Lambeau Field is so highly visited, it brings thousands of visitors each year to the city. These people bring business to the surrounding businesses and hotels which in turn help out the overall city itself. Touring Lambeau Field was an amazing and unforgettable experience. Personally, I would recommend taking a tour of Lambeau Field whether or not you are a Packer fan. Maybe even go to a game! This is a team and a city that is wonderful to get to know and they would love to have you visit them! read more
