!st meeting ended with the feeling the lawyer was not interested in me or my goals but only followed her young and immature feeling about all of it.....based on her short, empty life. She ignored all attempts at details of the years long domestic abuse by IMMEDIATELY dismissing all as only criminal law; family law is limited and will not even consider the impact. Glad he did not kill me overnight. Today I have no food; he starved me before by denying access to kitchen. How long this time? The website advertises special services for complicated cases yet I was not made aware of any of them. Need forensic accountant to trace $$ he stole from me and a previous case in Florida with another woman that confirms pattern of financial abuse. Same with his "business" that was financed with my $$$, She let me know this convicted felon could still receive part of the house value while in jail!! She was proud of upholding the value that men are all correct and no woman should ever be believed. She was cold, dismissive and a poor representative of the "story" of actual caring about a client's "goals" that the website touts. I made a remark on leaving that Russia had just passed a law that husbands were permitted to kill their wives if in own home without any consequences....you CAN fact check this... but her response was she hoped I would be happy and have fun on the hills of Portugal. How responsive and caring! I went home feeling worthless as a human being for even disturbing her royalty. Cancels out all the glory of services offered on website. I'm not worthy enough for such assistance. Thanks for the help during a hard time in my life. This firm will be portrayed by name when I begin the muckraking, which she never heard of but the pen is mightier than the sword. Greg and his team were nothing short of excellent during my divorce in 2014. He walked me through the process step-by-step and was understanding of the emotional and fragile situation. Gerry is absolutely the most unprofessional and incompetent lawyer I've ever dealt with. He misrepresented my case, charged me for reviewing files he never even looked at, and constantly ignored my clear instructions. Despite multiple reminders, he failed to address critical issues in court, leaving me to fend for myself while he was in court with me. He dragged his feet on important filings and clearly had no understanding of my case details. To top it off, he billed me for services unrelated to my case. A complete waste of time and money.
