Save 20% on Spring Dresswear! Spring Dresswear is here! Friday, March 1-Sunday, March 3 take 20% off Gently Used Spring Dresswear! Victor-Webster-Henrietta locations only." I went and bought new Easter shirts for my three boys. When I went to check out, I was told it was only on Spring dresses, not dress wear. I understand it wasn't the employees' fault, it's the owner (or whoever sends the texts). But it's frustrating that this is not the first time something like this has happened. At this point, it seems intentionally misleading to get people in the door, then "gotcha" them to spend the money since they're here anyway. The bottom floor has the regular Barnes and Noble, the Starbucks, and the RIT clothes and souvenirs while the top floor has text books and supplies (photo and computer supplies are still in the SAU by where Campus Connections used to be). Yes the prices are a tad higher on some of the art supplies and texts books but these are things that are overpriced almost anywhere (except for online) and convenience is key not to mention they now have a parking lot (which Campus Connections never had). Besides when you're paying almost 40k a year for school, who cares if they're charging you $80 for a $60 text book or $10 for a $6 paint brush? This whole new area of the campus is gorgeous and I wish it was around when I was going there. I'd recommend sucking up negatives, it's a great store and if you still feel emo about the prices then go get a few drinks at the new bar in the same parking lot.

Just Games is located in a large strip plaza in Penfield, and can be a bit tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area (i.e. me). However, once inside, it feels like you've left the hustle and bustle of the plaza behind. The manager (owner?) of the store was super nice and showed me a few things in the store, gave me their normal schedule of events, and made sure to introduce himself and get my name as well. I purchased some sleeves for one of my games and signed up for their free customer rewards program. As well as having your normal Magic the Gathering cards and supplies, the store boasts a large collection of tabletop games and accessories. Newer titles were on the shelf as well as plenty of expansions and other goodies. The store itself has a large collection of games that customers are welcome to open up and play while in the shop, and if desired, rented out for a small fee. This was probably the highlight of my visit. I tried out a couple new games and made mental notes of the games I wanted to come back and play/rent. Despite living about 75 miles away, I fully plan on taking a trek back out here to join a game night and meet some new people, learn new games, and enjoy what this shop has to offer.

Coco's Shop is a fantastic place to buy personalized items. The owner delivered beyond our expectations by providing a 3 in 1 customized koozie to suit everyone's needs. I have purchased gear from her in the past including football sleeves and personalized cups either Bills or local high school team that my son plays for. The owner does various items and has an eye for detail and perfection. Locally made right in Rochester. We will continue to go to here for our crafting needs.
