He said Cindy I want you to take your credit cards and put them in a baggie with water and put them in the freezer. So I did. It was very hard to learn no charging all cash. But I did it. Thank you for that so much. I am giving him 5 stars for honest job . If you need a Bankruptcy Attorney he is the one. I will watch every penny I spend from now on. Thank you Ken.

After the free consultation call I felt confident that Mr. Parker was the right attorney for me. He helped determine that I was eligible for Chapter 7. He made me feel comfortable and explained everything about the bankruptcy process in a clear and concise way that I understood, without all the confusing legal jargon one might expect from the court system. I lived with a lot of shame as a result of my debt. After meeting with him the first time I was able to provide a huge box of bills that had piled up over the years and he painstakingly went through every single document to compile my bankruptcy petition. As of yesterday, all of my debt has been discharged, and I'm very pleased by Mr. Parker's services. I'm finally free of the burden of excess debt and happy to have a clean slate! I would highly recommend Mr. Ken Parker if you're considering filing bankruptcy.

The Law Office of Danielle J. Eliot the real deal! This review is long overdue. They handled my…read morebankruptcy. We started the process in the middle of September 2025, the case was filed October 7, 2025, and my debts were successfully discharged in Federal Bankruptcy Court in January 2026 (3 months after filing). I recently made the last payment on my payment plan. Their work and dedication led me to have complete confidence in Ms. Eliot and her team. I learned to truly trust them. In the beginning, I was dealing with two of their paralegals, Austin Price and Kylie. The paralegals handle the "intake", where they gather all of your information for the court filing. There is a lot of information they have to gather from you - hours of work, spread across several days. I had the most contact with Austin. He was right on top of things, and returned almost all emails and phone calls in under an hour (sometimes in a few minutes). If I called and Kylie answered the phone, she was able to jump in and answer very specific questions, like my case was hers all along. I saw teamwork everywhere. Ms. Eliot got involved in the final review of the bankruptcy petition to be filed with the court, and after the case was filed. She was super professional, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to explain things that needed explanation. I quickly developed complete trust in Ms. Eliot. The payment plan that they offer was the best arrangement that was offered to me by any law firm I called. There was a small down payment that I had to pay to get started, and then it was $230 a month for 8 months. Those numbers included court costs. Total $2000. About 3 weeks after starting the process, they filed the bankruptcy petition with the court and immediately emailed me the case number. You can track federal cases in the PACER system, and yes, I was able to see my case. The phone calls and emails from creditors stopped in just a couple of days. They emailed me updates as they came in, like for example the date and time of the online "341 meeting" with the creditors. Myself and Ms. Eliot attended and she stayed on the video call afterwards, to answer my questions. The whole experience of working with this firm was phenomenal. They are professional, they have integrity, they are dedicated to completing the process, and they are all-around nice people. I highly, highly recommend this law firm. You can tell that they care (unlike most laywers).

Very helpful in my dilemma and financial setback. Thank you for quick response and actions to help.read more

Dealing with death in your family is never easy. It's painful, trying, and often quite messy. My…read moresituation is no exception. There are people in the family trying to act nefariously, and so I felt I needed to seek legal advice. I'd tried calling two different estate attorneys in NC (I am out of state). One was outright rude, replying, "Where did you get my number?" to a long, heartfelt message I sent him. The other firm was fine enough, but they wanted to charge me for a 5-minute phone call and didn't travel to the part of NC I needed them to. Another Google search led me to call Westall, Gray, & Connolly in Asheville. The receptionist asked what I needed, I gave a quick summary, and she transferred me to Wiley, an estate attorney who was very knowledgeable, patient, and just a lovely person to interact with--that's very welcome when you're dealing with vultures fighting over the family member's estate like it's carrion. Before I chatted with Wiley, I was afraid and upset, but his practical suggestions and warmth made me feel so much better. He's a humble guy as well. I didn't find out until the very end of the call that his last name is first on the letterhead. :-) So, if (let's be honest, more like WHEN) my family tries to cheat me out of my inheritance, I will happily hire Wiley to represent me. And I highly recommend that if you need an estate attorney, that you hire him as well.

    David Wallace Attorney

I had a very negative experience with attorney David Wallace. He was referred to me through the…read moreModest Means program, but immediately tried to charge me a minimum of $4,500 just to handle a restraining order, which seemed far outside the purpose of that program. He claimed this was "reasonable" and tried to deny charging clients in court, showing he has no problem making false claims in front of a judge. When I spoke with him by phone, he was not trauma-informed and made dismissive comments, even saying how much he "loves restraining orders," which I found inappropriate and unprofessional given the seriousness of my situation. He later appeared in court twice on the related case, where he showed up unprepared, acted unprofessionally, and even attempted to deny a clear conflict of interest until I presented proof. His website doesn't function, which also reflects poorly on his practice. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend his services to others, especially those seeking a supportive, competent, and ethical attorney who will show up to court, prepared and dressed in professional court attire. I would recommend looking for an experience, and professional lawyer and sadly David falls very short of that literally and figuratively.

He made the process seem easy and that he would take care of everything. We met several times personally. When we showed up to the first court date, he didn't even remember us. He asked us several questions that it was obvious that he hadn't even bothered to open the file he was holding to refresh his memory about our case. After the court date, I repeatedly asked him if I needed to do anything else, did he need anymore documents, did I have any other responsibilities. I had never been through any of this and had no idea what the process was. I made that clear, asked tons of questions, etc. He assured me that, no, everything was complete. There was nothing else to do. I even mentioned our rental properties (which we were keeping and had never stopped paying on). He said, no everything is taken care of. He was OUR ATTORNEY. And I believed him. I soon stared getting notices from our rental properties mortgage companies mentioning that they were involved in a bankruptcy, etc etc etc. I called the mortgage companies and they had never received legal papers from my attorney to reaffirm the loans. I called David Wallace, and was blown off by both him and his staff. I was panicking!! It looked like we could now lose these rentals because of David Wallace. His office staff just kept saying that wasn't their responsibility and put me through to Mr. Wallace's voicemail. He would never even call me back. I was able to work out things with the mortgage holders and keep my houses, thankfully. The point is, David Wallace, nor his staff EVER mentioned that we had to file any paperwork with the mortgage holders. When I asked and asked if there was anything else to do, he repeatedly said no, everything else is taken care of. He never did call me back, but obviously knows he screwed up because he credited my account and stopped billing me for his "service". DO NOT USE HIM HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE IS DOING!
