Very solid Computer Science program (that's what I'm graduating from) with lots of employeers coming here to recruit. I had no problems finding a good job. The engineering and science program is nationally known and has a very good reputation. I know this from personal experience. Other programs I'm probably not qualified to comment on.

The tour was very informative and we were taken through dorms and multiple buildings. Their student center is great and I personally was sold on the school after seeing the dining hall (so awesome). The campus is small and easy to get around. I love all the trees and just the general vibe on campus. Highly recommend a tour, if you're looking at colleges with your high school senior!

The students, staff and coaches…read moreall seem genuine and care deeply about preserving the integrity of the biblical based learning environment while helping students better grow and walk in confidence and pursue the passion God has laid on their hearts! The tour guides and admission staff did a fantastic job answering our questions and explaining basic information. I was impressed with whole well the campus grounds were maintained and appreciated that we didn't have to pay for parking to tour the school. Additionally, it was a nice touch having all the students names in a welcome board with individual name tags- and my boys especially loved the shirt they received at the end! Additionally, let's talk athletics! This d2 school is incredibly competitive and boasts a beautiful new track and almost completed state of the art football facility with over 1/2 million dollar in new equipment! The coaches for the two sports my boys are interested in took the time to sit with us and answer all of our questions once the tour was complete. It was a relaxed and obvious the coaches build close relationships to mentor and guide the athletes on this journey!

We then took a bus/walking tour. Our tour guide, Hollis, was energetic and engaging. There were several tour groups on the buses, but Hollis led our group and did an outstanding job. As we walked, he took the time to have 1:1s with each student to get to know them and their interests better. Every member of the tour team did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome, sharing lots of information, and being open to answering questions. 10/10 experience highly recommend!

My money and my daughter went to the University of Arkansas, so Woo Pig! Soooie! At least that's in the Southeast Conference. UGA is in the rolling hills of northeast Georgia and is one of the more picturesque campuses in the South. You can't miss the stately arch that marks the historic entrance (no photo as some recent grads were taking their own photos and it would have been creepy) to the ivy-covered buildings and the charm and architecture of the campus. Of course, Athens itself has a vibrant cultural life that is known for its music scene having given birth to both R.E.M. and the B-52s. The city seamlessly blends college-town enthusiasm with a strong local identity, making it not just a backdrop for student life, but a destination in its own right. This weekend is Family Weekend! We checked in on west campus (our daughters apartment is here) & went to the cookout & baseball game (yikes, we lost), but a great & beautiful day it was!! Hung around Milly for the afternoon (see other reviews). Great to hang with our girl!! Stayed at Holiday Inn, at at the brick & bowling at Lake Country Bowling.

There are other campus locations several miles away that you cannot walk to. A shuttle will transport you or choose to drive yourself as many people do. The campus buildings are well maintained and students are helpful when you do get lost. Labs and facilities along with faculty are top notch. I was very impressed with the quality from my perspective. I would highly recommend this institution over others in the State of Georgia.
