They make it a point to be friendly and attentive but that's where it ends. They have only a few employees and as other have stated, they pick up migrant workers and bring them into your home. Three different project managers meant that the first part of the job was ok, only because there was money to be spent. The third project manager cut so many corners that I'm surprised that the rebuild wing of the house is still standing. First it was the packers. Threw items into boxes and did not inventory much of anything. It was not surprising, when I visited their warehouse, to find my belongings thrown on the floor because the boxes fell apart. That Coach leather briefcase that I spent too much money on, well it was on the floor with desk chair marks on it from all the drywall dust in the room. The silver and crystal that was packed and was to protected. Half if it was never returned. These are just two examples. In regard to the house, it took them longer to rebuild than it did to have it built in the first place. This was not a subdivision house so the initial build was slow because of scheduling but 18 months to tear down and replace 1/3rd of the house was excessive. The rebuild left numerous holes in the building envelope that has lead to rodent problems, leaks and mold. I need a remediation company just to fix what they screwed up. Inside wasn't much better. Painting consisted of running the brush along the edges of all the wall plates, effectively gluing every one of them to the wall. The Kilz sealing paint that was spec's wasn't used so we still get a smoky scent in the house if the humidity is allowed to rise. Insulation was blown into the walls without the use of a vapor barrier so score another one for the black mold. My bottom line, if it's a small job, they might be able to handle it. By small, think drywall, paint and carpet. Don't let them handle your belongings or you won't get them back.

However, just be sure to be super specific with this company. Things like "finish the trim work you installed with paint, clean up after yourself, if you see something that is broken make a recommendation to fix" all need to be spelled out. Also, note that the price is subject to change if insurance is involved. TL,DR - Jared does good work and is relatively honest. Just don't expect him to do anything that isn't specified, including things that even dishonest contractors do (like cleaning up after themselves and finishing off a project).

First, we had a nice backyard, but we had a yard that sloped to the house that never grew grass very well and always suffered with some drainage issues. Phil recommended and put in a paver potio that included great looking stones, firepit and pergola to give it character and style. I cannot say how much we love this patio. We cook down there with our grills/smokers, we have weekend fires in the fire pit for s'mores and cooking, and we love to just sit and relax as we hear the birds and watch the kids play on this transformed area. Second, we bought the house for the yard in the past for the trees and adventure, but our kids wanted grass to run/play. This is where Phil recommended putting in a retaining wall and leveling or backyard (with appropriate grade for drainage) to put a beautiful grass filled yard. This involved lots of prep, grading, tree removal and planning but the results are amazing. Phil not only put in zoysia grass and planned plants, replants, and beds all around my house, but had the new sprinkler systems put in to help water the investment. Phil also put grass all around the house and even put in yard lights (which I have always wanted) to shine on the house and tree canopy's which makes things look so great at night. Phil even helped me put in a tree swing between two trees since we had to take out a dying tree that we previously had a swing on. Third, and most importantly, Phil is great to work with... I am an engineer so I am detailed and I want to discuss things regularly. Phil ALWAYS had the time to talk, plan, and make sure that we were lock step in what we were doing with the yard and what the expectations were from both parties. Lastly, when the job is completed, Phil doesn't go away. He still welcomes calls to check on things, come look at the job and make sure things look right, and give advice on anything that his team has helped put in. When you invest in something that matters you want to give it to a person who is going to care about your investment as well and that is what Phil does. I have a high standard of how I want things to look when they are done at my house. Many times I do these things on my own because I can do it well. I have also learned to hire people who are qualified to do excellent work because I know I won't regret it for the years to come when I look at that investment over the years. Investing with Sarros Landscaping was a no brainer. We love our house, our yard, our new way of living, and I can't wait for the years to comes being out there and enjoying the outdoors.
