Overall I think the company does a decent of packing and getting your things to a new location. However my review reflects the poor customer service I have received since finding out they damaged my couch and sheets. My move consisted of packing and moving my things to Banner Elk, from Marion, VA. Not a long move... about 1.5 hours. I treated the crew to lunch both days and tipped past my final amount owed, even with it being more than I was quoted. After my move was completed I noticed that my brand new couch (which I keep covered so it doesn't get ruined) had black marks all over it. Also, the movers wanted to leave my expensive bed sheets on my mattress to "protect it." Guess what? Sheets ripped. I contacted the main contact the next morning to let her know that my things had been ruined. I was promised a scheduled cleaning for my couch and was asked about the size of my sheets. Then? Dead silence. I guess they figure I'll just forget that they made promises they didn't keep. Sure they are a busy company, but when you move with professional movers you expect that your things will remain in the same condition. After all, the "we break it we buy it promise" is what I signed. Very disappointed in the outcome as I did everything I could to treat her team well. Should have just kept my tip to replace my sheets and get my couch cleaned. Updating my review- funny when you leave a not so positive review you get a phone call with all the promised things. Including my pics of my correspondence so the owner can not make me look like a liar in this situation. The movers finished with my house at 10 pm, on Aug 10. I emailed at 7 am on Aug 11, and with no follow up of what and how they would make it right.. just that they would take care of it. An actual follow through did not occur till I posted this review. Shame on this company. Update 2- taking another star for breaking my grandmothers cross for improperly packing and then stacking too heavy boxes on top of them. Box was crushed. Can't replace this. Another Moving Scam, they have made an already difficult experience a absolute nightmare. The guy named Daniel should be fired or even arrested. Disgusting. I spoke to him and shared with him circumstances of our move and what needed to happen. He worked out pricing and I shared multiple times I wanted no surprises. If it's more money then ok let talk about that now. Even shared I needed a full 26ft truck. He then said there should be no reason that this would go up unless you forgot to tell me Items. When driver showed up we're quoted Tripled The guy Daniel had told me his brother was autistic and they were all ran by Veterans as a match and Mirror sales techniques. He told me take this # down and I'll be your point of contact if you need anything. Disaster and a lier. We now have moved my newly widowed mother and Autistic brother across country by ourselves. Stay away! I booked a move from California to Texas. Pick update was scheduled for Nov 23, deliver date Dec 1st or 2nd. On Nov 23, no one showed up. So I called, and they said your pick-up date was moved to the 28th or 29th, and you can expect your furniture to arrive in 21 days. So I canceled because I had to start a new job on Dec 1. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are a broker that will make you believe that they will be doing your move. This will act like they care about you and your things, and will end up giving your contract to a nobody company with a 0 rating and your things will get destroyed. They will tell you they will give a white glove service and guarantee you that they will see you through your move, and at the first sign of problems they will avoid your calls, tell you you have to take it up with the company that shows up at your door and that you had no choice but to use. Danny made a ton of promises that he did not deliver on. My family and I completely got played by him and his company and we were a 12000+ move, not a 2000. Don't believe jack what this company tells you. They lie the rep Ryan hustled me. They make it seem like they are this perfect company that makes all delivery's. No not the case they pawn your stuff off to another Company that delivers your stuff. They said my stuff would not be stored anywhere its getting on the on the way asap. No three weeks later and giving me attitude that they have 21 business days to deliver it. They are all liars, never use this company or MAP MOVING the moving company they pawn my stuff too. Second they lie on the quote, I sent him a list of all the things in my house and he BS that as well. Do yourself a service and don't use any of these crap ass services. All they do is lie lie lie , I'm going to repost this all over yelp, google I will make sure this company gets the rating they deserve A big fat 0!!!!
