I came to volunteer with a local non-profit at their table at the Cleveland Market. I had a lot of fun. I got a chance to walk around to see some vendors but I didn't buy anything. There were food trucks available too and a lemonade stand. Parking is tight because it is all street parking so arrive early. The Cleveland Market also happens in the Fall so I hope to visit again. Inside you'll find a little of everything - well curated cook books, snacks (so many fig ones!), salami, gorgeously packed chocolate, fancy olive oils, tea, coffee, aesthetically pleasing plate sets, sauces, mixers, glasses, and so much more. If you miss Nature's Oasis at Van Aken, this is its elegant cousin (minus the food). The store is truly perfect for someone who is looking to gift or entertain. The prices aren't much higher than at comparable stores. You can easily find a unique gift in one place. You can also find enough food here to fill a charcuterie board. Both the owner and the employee working at the store were incredible. A lot of the store's employees are apparently based remotely in Chicago, so maybe there will be another store there?! I can only state that the building is very modern and pristine. It has very urban chic vibes. It's also attached to the Tremont Athletic center which is very convenient for any health conscious residents. Parking lot is spacious and impressive for this area. I will comment about the rooftop! It's a gem! I visited this rooftop on many occasions over the years! I visited it during Tremont Athletic Club events and most recently for Greyt Culture's Golden Hour. The rooftop has a gorgeous 360 degree view of CLE. It has flowers and what seemed like herbs. It also has a bar. It's definitely a gorgeous amenity for any residents! CO-WORKING SPACE -- I first visited Limelight on a Sunday in January 2021 for a private event from a female organization that I am apart of (The Beauty Boost). During the event, we listened to a speaker and we got to write or draw out vision boards for the year ahead. I got a tour of the space and realized how BIG it is inside. I visited again to try out my free day pass in April 2021. I worked there for most of the day (about 6 hours) and being there made me miss the office environment because I now strictly work remotely (work from home). The ladies working at the little front desk area allowed me to stay past 5pm if I wanted to which was nice of them because I got there around 10am and I needed to work for more than 5 hours. During my April visit, a man seating at my table showed my friend Noelle and I the rooftop deck, along with 2 other people who came along. The rooftop deck is connected with an apartment building and it is beautiful. The chairs on there are cute but the view is just fine. It is nice taking a quick work break to enjoy some sunshine on the rooftop. From the moment we entered the space, I was drooling over their plant collections, stunning wallpapers, and fun decor. The space made me think of eclectic decor from a mix of travels and vintage shops. You'll find a variety of spaces ranging from phone call booths and conference rooms to communal tables and privately rented offices. There is a communal kitchen offering tea and coffee daily. Rumor has it that they offer a variety of programming throughout the year for members. It's hard to beat the convenience of the Ohio City location with several shops and restaurants within arm's reach. They are connected to a shopping centre so if you are hungry and need food, you will be able to easily order food. They have a fountain drink/soda machine but the machine actually is for beer only which I thought was funny. The outside of the machine is labeled Coca Cola but they don't sell coke (haha). I don't drink alcohol but for those who do, grab a beer if you want. I do not know the price but I'm assuming a dollar or two. AMBIANCE: Modern, industrial chic vibes with exported brick walls, faux metal walls, concrete looking walls, and innovative lighting. It's a beautiful juxtaposition with comfortable velvet furniture found around the space. Interest murals (like space) and colorful accent furniture decorate the space. You'll find plenty of space to work - open area in the space meeting room, front of the co-working space that resembles a cafe (with an abundance of natural light), or mid-building with comfy tables and booths. The space well caters to different working scenarios. There are offices (38 total) for entrepreneurs, meeting rooms (various sizes) for teams, talk rooms for two guest conversations, phone booths for private calls. There is also a podcast studio with soundproof setup for the creators. Arcade for team building. I observed that most guests prefer offices or large meeting spaces. Everyone gets their first visit for free which is a nice offering. INSIDE -- It is quite large inside with seating available on the first and second floors. I sat on the first floor and worked on my laptop. The space includes private offices that businesses rent out and there are conference rooms available to use which must be paid and booked for in advance. They also have small phone rooms with a chair for people who want to have private phone conversations. TEA/COFFEE/WATER -- They provide complimentary tea, coffee, and water which is great and there are mugs that can be used. A dishwasher is available to place used mugs in. FRIDGE/MICROWAVE -- They have a fridge and microwave so if you want to pack your lunch then you can eat it here which is exactly what I did when I visited. Parking is located for free on the street which can be difficult to find in Ohio City but they have a small parking lot attached to the bar that is located right next to the space. I received a $50 gift card from a friend so I definitely will be back to either this location or their much bigger Beachwood location.
