Terrible Experience with Redfin's Home Valuation…read more I am extremely disappointed with Redfin's home valuation. Redfin estimated my home in Corona approximately $300,000 lower than a very similar home right next door. The homes have comparable square footage, condition, and overall characteristics, so this enormous difference makes absolutely no sense to me. I tried multiple times to contact Redfin to ask how they came up with such an inaccurate valuation and why the pricing difference was so extreme, but I could not get a satisfactory response. In my experience, Redfin's estimates are not reliable or accurate, and I would strongly recommend that homeowners do their own research and compare multiple sources before trusting Redfin's valuation. I have found Zillow to be considerably more accurate and up to date in comparison. Based on my experience, I would not trust Redfin's estimate when making an important financial decision about your home.
