To summarize the experience I had at Lane Ave Chiropractic, it was terrible. When I first walked in the door, I was astounded to see how few people were wearing masks. The two employees behind the front desk were not wearing masks. There was no plexiglass blocking the front desk, and the front room is small. When I walked up to hand my paperwork in, both of the two employees put on their masks... but somehow were too incompetent to put them on correctly. One put a face covering that could barely be called a mask on, but failed to cover her nose. The other worker but her mask on properly, but as we talked it kept falling below her nose and she kept touching her face. I was so desperate to see a chiropractor for help, that I sat down and decided to just wait and see if things got better. They didn't. As I looked around the waiting room, I saw an abandoned dirty coffee cup, very few clients with masks on, and a lack of hand sanitizer. I finally made the decision to leave when one of the employees from the front desk came to take me back to the Chiropractor. I asked her why no one was wearing masks, and she told me "some of our clients have medical conditions that prevent them from wearing masks, but I COULD pull my mask over my nose." The disrespect was palpable as she made no attempt to cover her nose. It's disturbing how little these medical professionals attempted to create a medically safe environment. read more

I can't say enough good about Dr Jay, Dr. Scott, Dr. Mary, Melissa, Matt and everyone else who makes Lane Ave. Chiropractic the place that it is. (I have been a patient since 2007.) Dr. Jay taught me the importance of an aligned spine, and how it has the power to effect so many other health aspects. I understood what he was saying, but the proof is in how you feel month after month of going. You can't mistreat your back and then expect a chiropractor to magically fix it. It is a maintenance program and one that requires dedication and faith in the people who know what they are talking about. The "assembly line" that another review comments on is exactly WHY I go there. My schedule is hectic to say the least, and popping in when I can for an adjustment is priceless. In that assembly line, I have never felt rushed. As long as you need to talk, the Dr.s are there. When you are done, someone else is next which I don't think is a bad thing. One star is unjustified, but anyone with a little common sense can see the 5-star posts among it. A review from a medical professional: This practice fraudulently over-bills insurance to get the most reimbursement and under-bills patients (notice you won't have to pay the co-pay your insurance says you have to pay! You'll pay less, that's how they keep you there). They just happen to charge my insurance exactly the max amount that my benefit covers per year, this is not a coincidence, it's fraud. They will charge your insurance for sitting on these little chairs with a bosu ball seat and call it a therapy, but they don't actually provide normal chairs. Patients sit through a 1 hour "class" of completely outdated (they actually cited the 1990's!) and incorrect medical information. They take x-rays without a weight on your head the first visit and with a weight on your head after a couple months and say "ta-da, look you're spinal curve is fixed" (well, there's a 5 lb weight on my head that explains the change in my xray, you can't compare apples to oranges). Lastly, they will play audio and video in the office telling clients that they can stop taking their blood pressure or diabetes meds if they take certain supplements or go to the chiropractor. This is completely not evidenced based and not endorsed by medical professionals. Supplements have a variety of interactions with important medications and diseases, but they do not take this into account which is very dangerous! read more
