He called back later that morning and said he could have someone out that day. Dave showed up and pretty much by himself took the chimney down. Another worker showed up and hauled it all away. Dave patched the roof where the chimney had come up through and shingled it and also put new brick in the wall where the pipe had come out to vent the stove. Another worker came and trimmed and painted under the eave and sealed the inside wall. I was impressed with the speed and quality of the job they did and will recommend them to anyone who needs work on their house done.

When I have asked about having some work done in the past, he said he is happy to do it but also offered a lower cost or no cost alternative, or simply showed me how something worked that I was doing wrong. Last time I called him out for what I thought was going to be a major pipe leak fix, he assessed the situation, took out a wrench, and with a couple of turns of a loose nut had the problem fixed. Did not charge me anything, even a service call fee. He totally could have spent an hour under that sink "fixing" a leak and I would have been none the wiser. Good, honest service. I can't ask for more than that.

Darrin couldn't find it a few weeks later and ordered the wrong color. He also didn't measure all of the windows on my porch and ordered the wrong size. His solution for that was to add 1x's and 2x's to make the windows fit. Now it looks like a jigsaw puzzle. I also pointed out concerns with siding that was installed incorrectly, the trim that wasn't cut correctly, and the gutters that were leaking. There has been no follow up since the work was 'completed', three years ago. Again, Darrin did great work with the insurance company. The follow through is lacking. And there has been no customer satisfaction after the fact.
