The front desk woman said that Dr. Nelson isn't *actually* an Activator method chiropractor. It's just part of what she does. See, this makes actually no sense. That's like saying a restaurant is vegan, but then the burgers are made only partially with vegetables and the rest is meat. No matter, I asked if she could recommend someone who was ACTUALLY an Activator method chiropractor, to which she said no, and "we'll have to do some research." I said "So, should I call you back?" To which, rudely, she responded, "No YOU'LL have to do some research." Which I did... which is how I found this sham practice. So, no thanks. Keep your false advertising and incompetent assistants.

Eventually, both my ears closed because of fluid buildup and I totally lost hearing. My treatment from conventional routes included 4 antibiotics, two prescriptions of oral prednisone, two prescriptions of inhaled medication and four nasal sprays. In addition, I sought treatment from 4 other speciality providers. By now, it was the end of August and I was still totally deaf and still had infection in my ears. In desperation I sought an alternative treatment and sought out the services of Dr. Joyce. I had never experienced acupuncture before but my primary physician thought it may help as nothing else had been effective. Truly, after one treatment with Dr. Joyce, I got back about 30% of hearing in one ear. With subsequent treatments my full hearing has returned and the infection subsided. While I knew that acupuncture was helpful for musculoskeletal issues, I never dreamed that it could be helpful with blocked eustachian tubes. I wish I had known months before. Later in the course of my illness, I learned that I probably had whooping cough, and that traditionally, none of the conventional treatments help to alleviate those symptoms.
