A cracking little pub tucked away in St Anne's. The pub was built around 1902, and it stands on the site of the Langton Court House. You can see part of the old house at the rear end of the car park.
In the pub there is a skittle alley which is something you don't see too often in pubs these days as well as a function room that can be uses fot parties or meetings. Most recently the pub had decked area added for the smokers, keeping them happy post smoking ban!
This is the home for the Bristol Sunday Football league, and if you come at certain times you can see teams celebrating victories or the planning side crowded around a table trying to organise the fixtures and check everything is rgoing smoothly. read more
