Wow! This place was an incredible find! Absolutely go here for a meal…read more Thierry, the owner, explained the menu to us, and you could sense his joy & pride at his job & the food he serves to his customers. He was a delight to meet. The food was DELICIOUS. You have to get a Kaisey! If Thierry's explanation doesn't sell you on it, I hope this does. It was SO GOOD. We tried a sweet one with strawberry and fresh whipped cream and loved it. We also got the Polish addition, and they were some of the best pierogi I've ever had (I'm Polish; I've had a lot of pierogi). The space itself is cool. There's an old bank vault, and if you take a look inside, there are posters explaining where the recipes come from and honoring Thierry's family. It was really cute & also heartwarming. Kaisey's Delights is a truly special place with a kind and incredible staff and amazing food. Do yourself a favor and try it out!

Since we were going to be in the Millsboro, DE area, I was not sure I would find anything unique or interesting. I came across Kaisy's Delights on Yelp. The reviews were pretty good, and the most recent one I saw was about three months old. After looking at the menu and reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. When we arrived, the place immediately caught our attention. The building used to be a small bank, and the interior still has the original vault, which makes it really interesting. A young couple with a small child walked in just ahead of us, and the owner invited both of us into the vault. He showed us pictures and shared the story of his family and how the restaurant came to be, along with the inspiration behind the food. My wife ordered the Sweetie Kaiserschmarrn, and I ordered the Skier's Kaiserschmarrn. Kaiserschmarrn is a fluffy, caramelized Austrian shredded pancake, often called Emperor's Mess. It is made from a thick batter with separated eggs, torn into pieces while cooking, and served with powdered sugar and fruit. It has a light, almost soufflé-like texture. My order also came with two sausages. The meal was excellent. The owner was very interactive and enjoyable to talk with. My wife and I both grew up around restaurants, so we tend to notice the details. The place was very clean. The table setting and dining ware were simple and nice. The presentation of the Kaiserschmarrn looked like a mess, which is exactly how it is supposed to look, and it tasted wonderful. We really enjoyed both the food and the conversation. Hearing the owner's story and how he got to where he is today made the experience even better. I would highly recommend giving Kaisy's Delights a try. There are a few more items on the menu I would like to try, and we will be going back.

Visiting Honey's was on our bucket list for our weekend trip and we're so glad we made it!…read more The omelettes were delicious. The latkas were...not quite what we expected? The hard exterior made it difficult to eat and many of us gave up on it. It was also very well seasoned, perhaps even too salty. The pancake special was huge. I feel the menu could specify how many pancakes each item comes with. Overall a good diner experience. We had plenty of space and found a quiet spot for all the children (where we didn't bother any other diners). Would come again!

I spent 50.00 (including 18% tip) for two breakfast entrees (short stack of blueberry pancakes and a side of scrapple, one order of avocado eggs benedict with homefries), one coffee and one small glass of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice (7.95!) The service was s l o w even though we were seated right away. Our waitress never came around to refill the coffee. The table with 6 people who were seated directly after us had to wait about 20 minutes before the waitress even took their order. I also heard them complaining about the lack of refills for coffee. The table seated in the booth directly behind us got up to leave after getting their drink order because the service was so slow, but then decided to stay once their waitress told them it'd only be 15 minutes for their food to come out! As for my breakfast... I'm not sure how hard it is to mess up pancakes and scrapple...but they did! The pancakes were soooo tough!!!! It's as if they had been microwaved! That's the only thing I can think of that would make for such a tough pancake. The scrapple was tepid and very THIN. My wife's eggs benny were "meh" she said. We won't be back that's for sure. Slow service, food was below average... definitely nothing to write home about, especially considering all of the wonderful places in this area to eat.

I ordered a matcha, and it came out looking grey instead of green. It tasted extremely watered down and nothing like a proper matcha. They didn't have strawberry, which was disappointing. My girlfriend ordered a coffee and she didn't enjoy hers either. The food was decent, but my pesto chicken sandwich was dry. What really ruined the experience, though, was the service. The first cashier we dealt with was rude, dismissive, and had a terrible attitude. The only positive interaction we had was with the person from the kitchen who brought out our food they were kind and professional. After I didn't like my drink, my girlfriend went to exchange it for a chai latte. While she was standing by the counter looking at the menu, the cashier snapped at her and told her with an attitude that she didn't need to stand there and that the drink would be brought out. We sat back down and waited over 15 minutes, even though we had placed the request before other customers started coming in. Then the cashier came back and asked for our order again, also with attitude, as if it had never been taken. When the replacement drink finally came, it was just dropped off at the table without a word. As a same-sex couple and also being Hispanic, we did not feel welcomed here at all. The looks and overall energy made us feel uncomfortable and out of place. I hate leaving negative reviews, but between the poor drinks, mediocre food, and some of the worst customer service I've experienced at a coffee shop, I will not be coming back. A complete waste of money.
