Eeeeehhhh I'm not sure about having cheese in front of my drink and the boys weren't very helping really so what I got was very intense green great and no other flavor like it stated in the title of having passion fruit. I might give this place another go.

I loved my drink so much I came here twice in a week. The taro milk tea is a perfect balance without the taro being overpowering. The boba was soft and chewy, perfectly cooked. Staff here were friendly both times. Definitely recommend stopping by here for a boba drink if you're craving one!

1st time getting boba in the big island. It was really good. The service was very nice. The ambiance was really cute & had a lot of pink.

Nice ambience and friendly staff that greeted us. I got the brown sugar milk tea and it tasted decent for the price. My friend got the oolong milk tea and he fairly enjoyed it. Would totally go if you are craving a fix of boba in the Big Island.

10/10 Pineapple passion fruit with lychee and boba. Has real fruit in it. Lychee and boba texture are perfection! Not too hard, but soft as well. 10/10 matcha cheese foam with boba. It usually comes with beans but I switched it out. The flavors together are so yummy! I got mine at 50% sweetness. The service was great - very helpful and patient with our questions. The vibe is chill, AC, clean, love the pink cherry blossom tree decor and angel wings on the wall :):). Side note- there's a faint smell that we think might be coming from the nail salon chemicals next door. Maybe they share vents? Not a big deal, just something we noticed. Wasn't enough to keep us from sitting in the store and enjoying our drinks.

Small, cute boba shop on the Kona side of the island. The decor is charming and so pretty with cherry blossom flowers everywhere! The staff is friendly, helpful, and quick as well. They have so many drink options ranging from fruit teas to milk teas to yogurt drinks with purple rice. My partner and I tried out their yogurt drinks with purple rice since we've never seen them at any other boba shops on the island. On our first visit, I got the mango purple rice yogurt drink and my partner chose the azuki purple rice yogurt drink. For our second visit, we tried out the strawberry purple rice yogurt drink and the blueberry purple rice yogurt drink. The purple rice was perfectly chewy and slightly sweet on both visits. A fun change instead of the usual boba pearls. The yogurt drinks were creamy, sweet, and hand a nice tang from the yogurt. Mango and strawberry were our favorites. Lani Tea House is by far the best boba shop on the Kona side! The rice yogurt drinks are amazing. We look forward to trying their fruit teas and milk teas in the future.

Nice staff. Small spot. Almost didn't see it on my first drive around parking lot. Drinks were just ok. Ordered the Blue Sky. Wasn't as blue/purple from the Butterfly Pea Flower as the picture they post in the store/Yelp, but had a nice coconut flavor. Ordered the Passion Fruit Tea. Also ok. Both drinks not really anything to get excited about. But they did have the crystal boba which I prefer over regular boba. Coming from California where there are SO many boba/tea places, this would equate more to being like a Big Island "Quickly". If you want a boba drink check it out, but if you "need" a boba fix, well...

Strawberry yogurt has jook consistency, not enough boba in the milk tea. Boba was hard.

** updated my review** The owner Yanmin replied back to me, asked when did I purchase the drinks there. I purchased my drinks on late February with Cash payment. I clearly remembered there were 2 ladies worked there who had pink hair, and the other lady had prescription eye glasses on, brown apron I believed. A recruit paper on the glass door *will keep updating you more once I recall* If you need more info or good lawyer. please let me know. Atmosphere: Pink Theme The store decorated with all pink, it was veryyyyyy cute at first glance. I was very exciting and thought Cowcow's Tea at Kaimuki, Honolulu eventually opened at Kona. Exactly pink theme, same decorations such as Wings decor hang on the wall. However Cowcow's Tea employee told my husband that they are the ONLY one in Honolulu. (I assumed Lani Tea likes pink too? How can decor shop same like others. Jk) Drinks: be honestly there milk tea and fruit tea series are veryyy basic. Too much colors in other drinks. However they also serve yogurt drink. I scared to give a try due to many boba shops in Honolulu serve yogurt drinks right after Cowcow's Tea. I tried Yomie Hawaii, the Alley. They were all no good. Cowcow's tea sets the bar tooooo high. My husband got the yogurt drink, he didn't finish it. Keith said taste gross, taste like rice soup, Jook. We saw they use Costco yogurt blended with rice. Boba was a little hard. The shop was empty when we got there. Fruit tea and milk tea wasn't good either. Service: Service wasn't bad. Only 2 employees at the store. **updated** (Owner wasn't nice, he has many way to ask for prove of purchase, he chosen the hard way). Overall: not my cup of tea. Might go back to check on their cakes. **update** (will never go back) Drinks are really ok, and below average compare to Oahu. For Those who wrote 5 stars on comments were too exaggerated such as "the best ever", "best drinks", "the best in Hawaii". They must are the owners or employees lol. It's rather funny by just reading all comments. ** will upload my receipt if I find it**

Great tea, kinda too sweet. Good for the price. Parking is easy and it's not very busy.

Awesome boba on Kona! Not too sweet and great ambiance. Jasmine milk tea is always my go to when it comes to trying a new spot.

Good milk tea, and I'm a Taiwanese resident thru 2028, the same Taiwan that invented bubble tea.

There's an ABC store here, a pricey market and a deli. We got some burgers that were just ok with overcooked fries and some groceries for our suite because we were cooking breakfast at the hotel. We were only $20 short of reaching the $300 spending requirement for the free gifts, which should speak to how frequently we visited and how much money we spent at this store. Despite being repeat customers, every visit was met with the same poor customer service. All of the cashiers who helped us were rude, curt, and could not even acknowledge the smallest greetings. The customer service was so unpleasant that it was not worth the experience. The food is not amazing, the prices are not great, and the only thing this place has is convenience--nothing more to offer. In one instance, I got a burger and a black milk tea with boba. I specifically told the cashier that I wanted boba, but she did not ring it up. When I inquired about the missing boba, a young employee addressed the matter with the cashier. They talked, and I said that if it cost more, I could pay for it. She rang up the boba with zero acknowledgment of her mistake. Nothing came out of her mouth. Complete silence. In another instance, I asked a cashier what the gifts were if we reached $300 in purchases. She did not say a word. She simply reached for a card with images of the gifts and placed it on the opposite side of where I was standing. She said nothing. I asked if those were the gifts, and she said yes. She then pulled out her phone while I looked at the card, and I simply said, "Okay, thank you." These are just a few examples of the many disturbing encounters we had with all of the cashiers. While on vacation in a tourist area, this is not the type of conduct or customer service one expects to experience. It was disturbing, and we dreaded going there despite the convenience.
