(We have eaten a few times at dinner but I was curious as to how different would the lunch be but it didn't appear any different, but then it could have been the Memorial Day special is the same as dinner offerings). I used to be able to eat a ton at buffets but I'm much older now and usually one full plate is enough. I tried a little of each of my favorite foods, ribs, dim sum, fried shrimp, walnut shrimp, bok Choy, green beans, salmon, egg rolls, Mongolian beef, stuffed shrimp, sushi and dessert watermelon and a creamy strawberry dessert! Wow, it was all very good, I would have liked to go for seconds to try more different foods but I was full. Gohan is a really great deal considering that Vegas buffets cost you $80 plus for a feast like this. If you love Asian food and especially seafood, this is the place to try! They have plenty of seating and the table staff are on top of clearing off dishes from your table.

I like how we can get our own drinks instead of waiting for the servers to refill it, which normally doesn't happen in other locations. The food was similar to other offerings I've been to but with a little more variety. I wouldn't say the food was bad nor was it the best. Heads up with the snails since they braised it with a star anise flavor, never had it like that before. I came in for lunch and will have to come back for dinner one night to see the other offerings. Not bad at all.

Just stepping in lifts your spirit and creates joy. The thoughtful decor and beautiful design immediately stand out, creating a special atmosphere, even if you are simply meeting friends for lunch on a weekday. I never expected to find such a stunning restaurant tucked into a shopping strip in the heart of San Ramon. One Hour Bistro is truly a delightfull find. The same attention to detail reflected in the decor is also evident in the quality of the ingredients and the incredible flavors of each dish. Crystal glasses in a Thai restaurant? YES! They also offer mocktails which I wish I had time to try and savor. I ordered the Kao Soi Braised Short Ribs, and it was absolutely stunning; beautifully presented, generously portioned, and deeply comforting. The rich broth, tender bone-in ribs, and flavorful noodles made every bite memorable. I couldn't even finish the entire dish because I wanted to savore it slowly. The Pad See Ew was a silky, heavenly treat. The rice noodles were succulent, the vegetables were fresh, and everything was coated in a rich, flavorful sauce. If your driving through San Ramon, this is a MUST try. If you live in the area, lucky you!

Cute little sit down, tepanyaki, place. There were plenty of different food options to fit our tastes including vegetarian options. It feels like this place is more built as a to go place rather than a sit down spot, but even so, the service from the waiters, we're top notch, and they helped us with getting our toddlers situated and helping with the explaining items on the menus. Food came out pretty quick and was well cooked and hot. I would say in terms of a takeout tepanyaki place this place is pretty good. I enjoyed my steak and shrimp with fried rice and our toddler really enjoyed his tofu with fried rice. The portions were pretty big and so everyone left full after a full day of fruit picking. Definitely a good option in this plaza if you are looking to get your grub on.

The chicken wasn't juicy or tender maybe ask to have it prepared differently. The veggies were soft and mushy. But still a very good plate of food. "the best way to eat food is to eat what you love!" To be honest, Fusion used to be terrible, and I used to absolutely hate coming here. Food was slow in coming, what came out was often cold, the dining room was loud, and service was impersonal, at best. On one visit, half the menu was unavailable, requested silverware was crooked, and numerous glasses, bowls, and plates were chipped or damaged. On another visit, I saw multiple families sneak out of the restaurant, walk to McDonald's across the plaza, and smuggle food back in to tide them over until their orders came. After a while, I wasn't alone in meeting the decree of, "come to Fusion on Saturday," with a groan. However, when HL Peninsula opened in Castro Valley and established itself as a threat to Fusion's business, it served as a wake-up call. Food immediately got better (from "below-average" to "know what to order and you'll be fine"), the speed of service improved, and food temperature became consistent and proper. It's not QUITE a "different restaurant" feel, and there are still some negatives. It's still loud and service could still be better (there have been times where chicken wings have taken over an hour to come out, which is a "should not occur"). However, at least I don't dread coming here anymore.
