Heads up, this is my first time here in the Phillippines since I was 10. I am now conscious of these things/places. Any who here is my experience as a visiting Filipino-American. Ambiance: Live Entertainment - I was hoping for a center stage with a line up of performers but moreover it's pretty random, some vendors bump up their music to some good jams, but not a lot of entertainers (musicians, dancers, magicians) Food * There are a few good finger food vendors (fishball, bbq, empanada) and some refreshing drinks (coconut, mango juice, etc) Vendors * A lot of clothes for people of all ages, they also have general everyday use stuff from cooking utensils or school supplies. Overall: I give this place a 4 Stars. Not the place to be but a good place for some cheap items, good eats, and experiencing the Laoag life. It's proximal to other spots (town hall, sinking tower) so it is a great place to walk and wander. I wouldn't mind coming back here, even to simply see what's the buzz of the night. Advice: * We parked near a church, it was about a 5-minute walking distance * If you're a visitor, make sure you have your shots so you don't get food poisoning. read more
