I paid the cost and then the first set of paperwork I sent them took 3 1/2 weeks to arrive as I sent it regular mail. Maybe that's the case or maybe it sat on someone's desk somewhere I don't know. But then I was asked to send an original will from my uncle and of course I was fearful because of what had just played out with the previous mail, but I sent it priority. And lo and behold, according to them, my package arrived missing pages. Again, even after I told them how fearful I was at sending it because it was my only copy. I treated it like Gold. I know I sent the entire package and somehow Pages got lost and now they wanna charge me more money to set up the estate. The associate I was working with said she had seen this happen before where the Post Office lost pages in a priority package. The additional fee they want to charge me almost doubles what they advertised. The lesson here is don't choose an attorney that isn't close enough that you can go physically and hand them paperwork and don't choose one because they advertise a cheaper price. You might get the service I just received. The only good thing they did is offer me a full refund so I go find another attorney to get the job done correctly only now I have to do it without my original will from my uncle.

He asked for a $2500 (6 hours) retainer which would cover the reading and review of a prenup that was written by my significant others lawyer. It was a direct document, nothing that was so complicated. Scott has an office filled with interns and he kept pushing me off to so many that I couldn't even keep track of who was who . Never met Scott . Maybe spoke to him total Of 15 minutes in total . After weeks, he sends me an invoice additional $4100 plus . For hours spent !! I WAS BEYOND . He did zero !! He was sending me texts regarding a parade for mayor title . I asked to explain the invoice .made zero sense . He said it took 5 hours to read the prenup which again was a standard basic agreement. Nothing out of the ordinary, actually it was written in my favor . He was then kind enough to waive the bill which was completely ludicrous!!! I asked him what took 6 hours ,? I mean really ? Never meeting him ?? NOTHING So he said he would give me a courtesy of sitting down with me and go over the agreement .. Geee.. so we make an appt to come to his office . Sitting in his meeting room with approx 6 INTERNS . Taking notes , asking questions . And we went thru the entire prenup within 1 hour !!!! Then Scott said I need another $2500 if you want me to continue!!! I was in shock !! He then told me to ask my future husband for the money !! DISGRACEFUL ! I then called to office because I couldn't understand how he could bill me for 6 hours to read this basic prenup and justify it ? Vs 1 hour with 7 people in a room? The office blocked my number ! UNHEARD OF!! Stay away, this was the worst experience of any lawyer that I've even dealt with . ZERO PROFESSIONAL .
