It was a fun experience and we decided to enroll for the school year. I absolutely love this school on so many levels. The staff are incredible. Waldorf is new to me but love the community and imagination based style of play, learning and life. They have so many traditions and events throughout the year that are magical. Nature based and a dim calm environment. The have a unique rhthym of the day that you won't find at just any school. They play outside, feed chickens, sing, open play, snack, story time, art, and so much more. I am looking forward to being part of the Acorn family for the next few years!

We found Acorn KinderHouse through the Ducks & Ducklings program. What I love most is it feels like…read morehome away from home. I love that the children have a rhythm and know what to expect each day. They get to take morning walks in nature, learn fun songs, feed chickens (and now pet the bunnies), learn how to chop vegetables, bake bread, learn finger crafts, molding beeswax, wet on wet painting, and everything about is natural. Lots of wooden toys to play with indoors & they get to wear cozy slippers, just like at home! The teachers are so comforting to the children when they need a little bit of love. My son needed that. I recommend you try their summer camps or ducklings classes.

The teachers are creative and intentional in the way they teach, using innovative activities that help children build confidence and develop new skills. I've seen firsthand how clear instruction, patience, and consistency have helped my child grow and truly enjoy learning. The school also does a wonderful job bridging home and school, making families feel respected, included, and supported. You can feel the care, dedication, and commitment to quality education throughout the entire school.

This the worst school to take your kids to because the lady in the front all she does is complain…read moreall the time about you and your child like "why does he always poop everyday? He doesn't know to hold it in and etc." Lady he's 6 weeks old you expect him to knows how to yet. Pathetic! Had the nerve to call my baby worthless! Ridiculous! She so delusional! She's also a 2 face! I think She needs to go to a doctor to see if anything wrong with her or not.
