I found the Lifestyle Spa because I have been following my skin guru, Kimberly Ross, for the past 10+ years. My mum connected me with Kimberly when I was 12 years old because I had a pretty bad unibrow- couldn't be walking around like that! I'm not going to lie, I have some great brows- they are full and thick and have a nice natural arch, so many people wanted to thin them out and make them something they structurally shouldn't look like. But not Kim! She really knows how to work with each individual and cater to what they want/need when it comes to alignment and shaping. I really don't know what I would do without Kim (probably still walking around with my unibrow or had someone ruin my thick, full brows). Kim also changed my world when it came to my skin. Kim has always gone above and beyond to make sure I feel confident and beautiful in my skin. She helped me understand the importance of taking care of my skin, the best products that work for me and shared best practices for taking care of my skin. I basically can't go without my regime she curated for me otherwise my skin starts to freak out. She knows my skin better than I do. She takes the time the time to understand the full picture; your diet, medications one takes, hormones, the sun & environment you surround yourself in and how it all plays a part in the appearance your skin. Located on Main Street in Carmel, this multi-story spa offers all types of skincare services and sells quality skincare lines in the lobby. I'd been in to pick up a few products before, but finally booked a facial last week. I called ahead to book my appointment. I wanted them to assess what my skin needed, so I gave them my budget and told them to do whatever they thought was best in that price range. My esthetician, Rose, was amazing and did a great job clearly explaining what she was doing. She answered all of my questions in a helpful way and I learned that she has 14+ years of experience. She said that this is her favorite place she's worked because everyone here is passionate about skin and they get all of the new gadgets. She hydrated my skin, did a mini chemical peel (one with no downtime), microbladed my face (gets rid of all dead skin/hair/helps you be glowy), and did laser genesis to stimulate collagen and kill bacteria (potential acne). My face was super glowy after and my skin felt tight the following day. The products that she used were top of the line (IS Clinical, Babor, etc), so the price of the facial truly is worth the quality of product that they're giving you. We did the sculpt massage with a scalp massage. All of it felt heavenly and didn't seem rushed. Our faces left radiating! My favorite was the deep tissue massage, but I tried the essential therapeutic touch massage yesterday, and that was AWESOME, too. Aimee really listens and then delivers services guaranteed to leave you relaxed and feeling better than when you came in. Her location is extremely clean, to the point that she really didn't have to make very many changes when COVID hit (because her between-client cleanliness standards are already super thorough). The only downside is that she is typically booked solid, so it can be tough to get in quickly. I consider that a good thing, because this means lots of other people also love her services as much as I do. I have started to book 3 appointments at a time so that I get the frequency and time slots that I want.
