Tricoci University of Beauty Culture - I had a facial yesterday by Jade King and it was wonderful! My skin was so tired and dry. Jade was fantastic and now I have a glow!

I went here to get low lights in my hair and I am very happy with the results!…read more I have very blond hair and asked for full foils in brown. The student, Jennifer, did a really good job with the foils but put in too many so the end result was way too dark. She gladly went back and pulled out some dark strands and did more foils to put some blond back in. My only complaints are the time I was there as it took most of the day and that I paid for a custom conditioning but then my hair was washed again after the second set of foils As I said though I'm very happy with the final result and I've received several compliments!

Customer Complaint / Warning…read more I had been a loyal customer at this beauty school for three months, since I moved back into Illinois, and I always attended Saturday appointments that they themselves confirmed by text. Despite this, when I arrived for my most recent appointment, the front desk staff rudely told me I was "mistaken" and that they don't even offer Saturday appointments--completely ignoring the proof I showed them of my confirmed visits. The staff member was unprofessional, dismissive, and confrontational, refusing to involve an instructor or even provide me with my hair color formula so I could go elsewhere. When I finally spoke with an instructor, I was told my appointment had been canceled for a student event--but no one had bothered to notify me. To make matters worse, the instructor and student who were supposed to reschedule me simply walked away mid-conversation, leaving me sitting there embarrassed and confused. This school wasted my time, treated me with disrespect, and left me feeling humiliated. I will never return, and I strongly caution others to avoid this place if you expect professionalism, accountability, or even basic courtesy.

But I'm perplexed and I'm just not understanding how and why I'm supposed to wash mine? The Stylist say's, "it's for cleanliness", which just completely throws me off. It's not as if I'm going to touch the stylist, she's the one who's going to touch me!! Well that all just seems way out in left field to me, so I decide to just leave. On my drive home it started to weigh on me. Is this where vagrants go to cut their hair? Do they think I have slimy hands and are going to put them on the arms of the salon chair? I used to have my hair cut at the Beauty School at the Community College in Madison when I was a student sixteen years ago. They never had their clients have to wash their hands. What a strange deal EOB has going on with the hand washing. Well, I'm out.

When she got home last night there was still toner on the base of her head that the student didn't wash out ( she was too worried about getting food and talking to another student)! Today her hair is orange and brassy. When I called they told me there was only 2 openings tomorrow, but my daughter is in school for one and at her dress fitting for the other. I told them that a teacher needs to fix their mistake and I was told that the teachers are busy supervising the students and that they don't do hair. Thanks for ruining my daughter's hair for her brother's wedding!!!!
