On 2/23/19 I took a spill in the parking lot. Several witnesses came to see if I was alright and as they approached me they almost feel as well due to the black ice on the parking lot. I reported the injury to my right knee to an attendant. She said she would report the injury to her manager. Well, this was 6 days ago with no follow up from the shell station. I proceeded to report the injury to the Shell corporate office to see if they can get the independent store to respond, still no word. 1/11/19. Cashier on duty rang up 6 pk of water @$3.29 & I said are you kidding? It's not that price in the cooler & he said that's what it's ringing up as. Asked if he could override price to $2.99 and he said he can't. Asked to talk to manager and there wasn't one. We walked back to cooler and he took off price tag on shelf and ripped it up, then asked me if I still wanted the product. POOR customer service!!! This has happened before@ other Shell stations. They were out of coffee and instead of doing anything the cashier just stood there and gave us the eye until we left. Way to do your job.

I agree with previous reviewers that the manager of this station is rude and displays inappropriate behavior. I stopped in the morning of 9/26/16 to wait for the Jefferson Lines bus, as this gas station serves as a pickup point for the bus. While perusing the magazines, the manager came over and told me I had to move out of her way. I backed up to let her pass and then she started yelling at me because I was "behind the counter, and no one is allowed behind the counter!" I was unfamiliar with the layout of the station and didn't even realize there was a counter there until she started yelling at me. I guess my foot must have touched her "territory" and she was going ballistic. I looked around the station but decided I really didn't need to purchase any snacks there since she had been so rude to me. After a while, the manager started to throw questions at me (apparently trying to figure out what I was doing there), such as "What time does the bus come?" I figured she was baiting me and if I didn't give her the answers she wanted, she'd probably start yelling at me for loitering. She finally must have realized that I was there for the bus and told me that there was a waiting room I could use--so maybe she was trying to be nice--but then ruined it by yelling across the room that I wasn't allowed to take any magazines in there. I wasn't intending to do that and I was shocked that she was such a paranoid individual. I know there are characters that come into these stations, but I am 65 years old and was well-groomed and respectfully dressed. Apparently, that's how this manager profiles "the criminal element." She should be ordered to take some training in how to provide customer service and to stop harassing senior citizens. read more
