We were welcomed warmly my several upon entering. Carlos was our server. He immediately brought out chips and two types of salsa and limes. Las Brias is amazing. If you're looking for tasty food, friendly staff and service, and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further. We had the garlic shrimp and Diablo shrimp plates, and an outstanding piña colada. The plates came with rice, beans and tortillas on the side and they were great as well. I judge any Mexican food establishment back home by their beans and Las Brisas were some of my favorites. They make their tortillas in house and we had plenty of food to take back for later. Our server Mario was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable and ensured we will be back again when we are near Puerto Nuevo. I have visited Puerto Nuevo several times for their lobster and have gone to several different restaurants and this is my favorite that I keep coming back to. The service is amazing! The waiters are so friendly and attentive. They start off by bringing their caldo de mariscos which is so good. We got three large lobster halves for $30 USD. This is the same price we got at another place the same week but for a medium sized lobster. I like the fact that they asked us if we wanted the lobster deep fried or grilled. We chose the grilled because that's our preference. I'm not sure if other places also do this but I haven't been asked before. We sat at the very top level of the restaurant which gives you a view to the ocean. It was close to closing time so we had the place to ourselves. It was like a private romantic dinner. Although there's nothing romantic about eating a lobster and getting it all, lol! There was a review that said they didn't take cards so we were worried that would be the case, but after talking to our waiter he explained they had a day a couple of months ago when their system was down and apparently they got some reviews complaining about this. Great place for all seafood lovers! Get one of their combos if you just want to get absolutely bombarded with a variety of seafood. Their menu has both Spanish and English, as well as prices in both pesos and USD. Their staff was pretty proficient in English as well. Chips with salsa and pico de gallo are given as an appetizer. Their pico de gallo had jalapeno chunks and was SPICY but super addicting! Rice and beans are also given on the side as well as fresh tortillas which were delicious with the combo. LAS BRISAS COMBO #2: Comes with lobster, shrimp, whole fish, and crab with a small bed of salad. The menu says it's good for 4 people but you can probably stretch that to 5 or 6 people if you aren't too hungry or if you all have smaller appetites in general, especially since you have the chips and sides too. The lobsters were split in half so it was easy to pull the meat out in one go. The crab pieces were just claws and took a bit more work with the cracker, but most of them already had some cracks in them which made things a lot quicker. We had a large group of 13 and were able to easily grab a spot on the roof on a Saturday during dinnertime. read more

He even helped us with street parking right in front of the restaurant, which was such a thoughtful touch. This says it can feed 4 people, but we split it amongst 5 and it was a good amount of food. You're also given Tortillas, Rice and Beans on the side. I loved how the Lobsters are cut in half so it's super easy to rip the meat out of the shell! The crab claws were a bit harder to work with, even with the crackers they give you. The fish was nice and flavorful, but you do have to dissect it and eat around the bone yourself. Had about 7 lobster half's along with several crab legs and yummy shrimp . We ordered it mojo de ajo. Served with huge tortillas, beans that were delicious and rice. We loved everything. My wife and I started our Mexican Baja adventure at Puerto Nuevo, specifically at Las Brisas. We visited this restaurant on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Mario, our waiter, had an energetic, infectious and fun personality. We started out with some large margaritas on the rocks. We could tell they didn't skimp on the tequila and the lime and triple sec were in perfect unison so it wasn't too sweet or too sour. Mario brought us some fresh chips and salsa on the house. We ordered two caldo de pescados (fish soups) for $11 each. They had large chunks of fish and a very flavorful broth. We ordered the lobster, shrimp, and fish combination for $24.50. They included perfectly cooked Spanish rice and thick and creamy refried beans on the side. The lobster dipped in butter had a wonderful, sweet taste, the fish flaked in beautiful, juicy pieces and the shrimp were large. The view of the ocean from the top floor is magnificent. Great food, nice view and fast friendly service. Give this restaurant a try when you're in Puerto Nuevo. It's a keeper. read more

I was on a ministry trip this weekend and I was chosen to look for a place for the group to eat. I had heard of this place from social media so I decided to try it. This place will not disappoint. The prices were very good and the food quality and quantity was excellent. The flour tortillas were delicious and huge.
